The distinct phases of the distinction between friend and enemy have reflected either a political tension between the involved actors, or a brutal confrontation that has led until the present time to a devastating outcome. However, the radicalization of the enmity, especially characteristic of the last decades, has attenuated with the enhanced desire of peacebuilding in the country. In this sense, the Peace Accords of 2016 can be considered as an important milestone towards peaceful coexistence and as a vital step in the reconsideration of the friendenemy distinction.In order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the Colombian armed conflict from this theoretical framework, some of the most important aspects of its emergence, development and resolution will be analyzed in accord with core arguments of the Concept of The Political and the Theory of the Partisan of Carl Schmitt. On one side it is attempted to determine if the typical friend-enemy distinction of the German political theorist can be applied to the Colombian case. On the other hand, it should be analyzed on what extent the FARC, seen as the public enemy, reflect the partisan nature and personify the absolute enemy characterized by Schmitt. Likewise, it should be evaluated if the different phases of the friend-enemy distinction, directly connected to a degree of political tension and enmity, can also be found in the development of Colombian armed conflict throughout its prolonged history.

Then, it reflects on mesmerism in the Gothic writings, which is extended up to the role of animagi and metamorphomagi in J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter and compares with the writings of Tagore; ghost stories of Trailokyanath Bandopadhya, Satyjit Ray, Tarasankar, and Manoj Das reflecting on spiritual psychic elements; Samit Basu presents Simoqin prophesies; Shweta Taneja's concept of cult of chaos, etc. Then, an in-depth critical evaluation has been done regarding the importance of the supernatural characters in such writings from the artistic and philosophical point of views and stylistic factors. It is observed that the traditional authors of both the countries have blended mythological and socio-cultural motifs based on supernatural realities whereas in the modern times, the writers are intertextual, scientific as well as artistic and what's more, the contemporary writers have been creating new forms unique to their domains of writing or genres.

Lover in the ancient stories passes the stage of madness that teaches the basic foundations of mysticism in the language of the higher worlds.The tale of Leyli o Majnun provides the idea that Nizami had considered Ghazali's text which has inspired the creation of his tale. Ghazali's basic and sensual image of transcending passion is imitated in Nizami's work but in a further detailed and fictional practice. In Ghazali's work, to display exceeding love in a sensual language became a standard literary form for romance. In Nizami's work, the textual union of mystical and suggestive motifs is in the way of its development. Ghazali cites two tales linked to Majnun as the model of the lover, many connections may be formed between his concepts on the different platforms and methods of love's desire and Majnun's journey on the way of love in Nizami's version.

The study also aimed… to determine whether statistically significant differences were in teachers' perceptions of their status, gender, teaching experience, and level of education. 615 question papers with 20 Likert statements are distributed to a random sample of general and special education teachers working in areas including Ethiopia. Eighty-five percent (n = 523) teachers completed and returned practical questions. Analysis of the data collected, using descriptive statistics and variance analyzes, has shown that teacher assessments of special educational programs used in their schools are generally acceptable. The results also show significant differences in the assessment of teachers in terms of their position and level of education.

The objectives are to determine the causes of political apathy in the electoral participation of citizens of Nigeria and South-Africa in their 2019 general elections and to examine the impact of political apathy on the electoral process in both countries. Furthermore the author determines the trend of political apathy (voter turnout) in the general elections in Nigeria and South-Africa from 1999 to 2019, and from 1994 to 2019 respectively. The necessity of this research was borne out of the need to address the increasing rate of political apathy especially voter turnout in both democratic nations. Political participation (voter turnout) was 70% in 2003 in Nigeria when it peaked after four years of democracy. In South Africa, it was 89% in 1999 when participatory electoral democracy was restored. This had declined to 35% in Nigeria in 2019 and 63% in South-Africa in 2019 elections, representing 35% and 26% decline at the peak of electoral participation in both countries respectively. The causes of political apathy in the two countries have been attributed to lack of mobilization of the electorate, political marginalization, corruption, lack of political accountability, lack of motivation, lack of trust in the electoral process, failed promises by political leaders, lack of civic engagements, political violence, thuggery and militarization of the electoral process, political deception, powerlessness of votes etc. Citizens' loss of interest in the electoral system in both countries has clearly undermined increased participation in the political and electoral processes. The Rational Choice Theory (Downs, 1959) was used. This work observed an obvious decline in political participation in both countries. This was evident in the 2019 national elections in both countries. Lack of trust in the electoral process has undermined electorate's interest in the political system.

For that, Darwin¿s The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex as well as papers by Borkfelt and Call and Tomasello, regarding the concepts of othering, speciesism and the influence of humans on apes, will be included. To prove my hypothesis regarding the characters of Caesar and Nova, seven scenes which demonstrate their special roles as mediators across the species will be analyzed. Contrary to novels or texts, films use a variety of techniques in order to illustrate the storyline instead of relying on the imagination of the reader. My major aim in the analysis is to examine, how certain techniques like facial expressions or sounds create a meaning, namely that Caesar and Nova can be considered mediators between humans and apes. A final conclusion will sum up and evaluate the main results.

Neuware - Academic Paper from the year 2020 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Region: Africa, grade: 10th, Princeton University (Princeton University), course: Political Eeconomics, language: English, abstract: In this article, the author argues that Neopatrimonialism in Africa and…Neopatrimonialism outside Africa are two different things in so many aspects, making the case of neopatrimonialism in Africa a distinguishable and different one than the rest of the world, that should be taken into consideration for further studies discreetly.The author also argues that while neopatrimonialism might leverage some nations and support democracy, the same case doesn't apply to the Sub Saharan regions.Going by the many articles defining the definition of neopatrimonialism, many researchers intertwine neopatrimonial regimes with developing countries and correlate the term with the levels of corruption and poverty in those countries.Several studies have been applied to neopatrimonialism to explain the depravity in several developing countries from different continents, without distinguishing between neopatrimonialism in Africa and neopatrimonialism in the other parts of the world.Neopatrimonial regimes in Africa are way different from their counterparts in the rest of the world; several reasons contributed to the rise, the continuity and the failure of transition to democratic regimes in Africa, among those reasons: traditions, ethical representations, and personality rule those three conditions are present and repetitive in every case of the Sub Saharan countries under neopatrimonial regimes, however, that's not the case fo the rest of the neopatrimonial states outside Africa. Research around the term neopatrimonialism and its features seem to be one of the most intricate things about this term. Some scholars have stated that neopatrimonialism spurs democracy, they have argued that patrimonialism may promote both democracy and developmental governance. While both of the arguments stated might be true, there are not found in every society, neopatrimonialism might or might not bolster democracy depending on the type of the community, the personal rule is pivotal in neopatrimonial states; however, it's not found in every neopatrimonial regime.

Biomarker studies and clinical observations indicates that the latter staged breast cancer types often develop slowly and are less biologically aggressive compared to the early staged breast cancers despite being under the control of hormone receptors such as growth factor receptor abbreviated as (HER2) and estrogen receptor (ER), expressions hence supporting the conclusion that breast cancer biology is age dependent.Approximately twelve percent of women across the globe in the current society are annually affected by breast cancer. Moreover, while breast cancer incidence increases with age advancement, patients of younger age at diagnosis are largely associated with increase in the mortality rate. This research discusses most of the age-related factors, which affect the identification or diagnosis, treatment, and management of breast cancer incidence; examining main concepts and exploring vital areas, which calls for additional research. Ageing as a predisposing factor for breast cancer will be examined in connection to diagnosis and treatment with special reference to nodal status, hormone factors, breast cancer subtypes and genetic status. Further, although narrowly, the study will also touch on the future expectations of breast cancer identification and treatment through examination of some rising potential technologies and breast cancer tests like the miRNA.

Those are alarming numbers.Often companies use too many, outdated or even too few KPls and the progress of the company's KPls towards its strategic objectives is not regularly updated and communicated to the staff and workforce. A lack of information makes the general company performance be the main reason for the executives for monitoring KPls.The need for change is known as 52 % of the executives surveyed see a need for improvement of their currently followed set of KPls. Five research questions were also generated for which the study sought to answer. In carrying out the study several relevant literatures were reviewed including communication texts, past studies, online and offline articles, journals as well as papers presented at different fora that have bearing on the subject. The theoretical framework for the study is the libertarian theory of the press. The study being a survey utilized the questionnaire as instrument for data collection. A survey was conducted among the staff of Literamed publications limited by administering the questionnaire to a sample of 190 staff drawn through a simple random sampling. The findings indicate that publishers are contributing to the growth of the Nigerian economy (96.2%). The major challenges confronting the publishing industry include book piracy (39.3%) and inadequate infrastructure such as electricity (25.1%) while the prospects include the ever expanding population of schools enrolment and the policy of compulsory education coupled with government bulk purchases. The findings also indicate that the company uses a multi-sectoral approach in marketing their books such as institutional sales, supply to distributors, bookshops and more importantly to schools and end users. The study recommends, among othert things, a synergistic approach in fighting copyright violations involving all stakeholders: authors, printers, publishers, booksellers, Nigerian Copyright Commission and other law enforcement agencies.

With its status as a public health challenge, it has been estimated that over twenty-five percent of couples will seek help for infertility at some point during their relationship, which accounts for over 2 million office visits to health care providers annually. It is also interesting to note that infertility may have other far-reaching consequences, as it not only affects the couples' life only, but the total health care services and social environment. Various studies have linked infertility to certain emotional and social disturbances including mood disorders, criminality, and inadequacy in social interaction amongst infertile couples. From a socio-anthropological perspective, there have been discussions on the role of a number of factors on infertility. For instance; Wdowiak et al. reported a trend of lower sperm parameters (and male reproductive health) in today's men in comparison to those who lived more than fifty years ago. Additionally, the negative effect of the persistent presence of environmental toxicants such as arsenic on the reproductive system in the recent years has also been implicated on the issue of infertility.

También se considera la evaluación institucional o autoevaluación como proceso para identificar sus fortalezas y debilidades, así también las áreas a mejorar, se manifiestan sus objetivos, aportes y condiciones mínimas así como sus dificultades principales. El presente tema tratado es de relevancia social ya que la calidad de la educación influye directamente en el ámbito social al analizar los perfiles de egresados que se tiene al servicio de la sociedad.
