Meanings, Tensions, and Contradictions in U.S. History, language: English, abstract: Looking at movies like 'Freaks' or 'American Horror Show', the question is how this concept can be understood in the context of 'freaks' and 'freakishness', whether it is sorely related to physical deformity, how this concept is expressed culturally, what 'horror' is and how it works. Above all, there is the question of how 'freaks' and 'freakishness' are associated with horror. How they are supposed to generate fear in the viewer, and how this could be concretely illustrated by an example. The series 'American Horror Show: Freak Show' and the episode 'Rosa Cubcakes' are approached from the perspective of these questions. In order to find basic answers to these questions, the first part of this work roughly deals with 'freaks' in American history and culture, terms are explained and the understanding of freaks and their representation in films is discussed. This is followed by a reference to monsters and their connection to the horror genre, which is outlined in its early development in America. In order to understand the effect of horror in films better, basic, typical film techniques of the horror genre are discussed. In the second part a short introduction of the series follows and then the analysis of the episode Rosa Cupcakes where the focus lies on the representation of 'freaks' and 'freakishness' with their connection to horror. Finally, the insights gained are related to the questions mentioned at the beginning and put into the overall context. 20 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2023 in the subject African Studies - African diaspora, , course: African Political Philosophy, language: English, abstract: It is an indisputable fact that the myriad of problems in Nigeria today in the areas of politics, religion, security and economy are a reflection of dearth of good governance. There have been conceited efforts by pundits on means that could bring about a viable polity yet to no avail. The liberals have called for restructuring, while the radicals believe it is outright dissolution of the Union that can ameliorate the pauperisation, exploitation and crass dehumanisation of the citizenry. However, these suggestions have not addressed the trajectory of the problem, thereby, making them limited in addressing the issues. This paper, therefore, examines the contributions of the famous Nigerian Afrobeat music maestro, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, especially as it concerns the dehumanisation of the proletariat class by the elites in Nigeria. The song, 'Teacher Don¿t Teach Me Nonsense' among others in Feläs musical repertoire, was purposefully selected to interrogate the problematic. More so, the research adopted the hermeneutic, analytic, critical and reconstructive methods of philosophy in achieving its aim. While the method of hermeneutics helped in decoding and applying the deeply embedded messages in Feläs music, the analytic method aided in clarifying concepts like humanism, governance, exploitation, dehumanisation, and oppression. The critical method was employed to examine hitherto attempts on same issue and finally the method of reconstruction helped to situate Feläs relevance and efforts in addressing the issue of dearth of good governance in Nigeria. The work concluded that it is only when the political leadership responds to Feläs call for class deconstruction would Nigeria witness the kind of governance that would transform the quality of lives of the citizenry. 20 pp. Englisch.

For many years, conservation practices were mainly geared towards protecting wildlife and nature by separating it from humans. While this fortress approach may have helped to save threatened ecosystems and wildlife, insufficient recognition of equity had negative implications for indigenous peoples andlocal communities. In recent years, equity is gaining more prominence in global agreements, such as the Paris Agreement. In the context of conservation, equity is reflected in the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework under the Convention on Biological Diversity, which stipulates that equitably managed protected areas shall be expanded to 30% of our planet¿s land and ocean and equitable participation of IPLC as well as respect for their resource rights are to be ensured.Transboundary Protected Areas are ¿relatively large areas that straddle frontiers between two or more countries and cover large-scale natural systems, encompassing one or more protected areas¿. Besides improved conservation outcomes, transboundary interventions are believed to serve other important purposes such as peacebuilding among nations. 20 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Academic Paper from the year 2023 in the subject Politics - Region: Africa, , language: English, abstract: Cholera is a significant global health concern. Nigeria has experienced several cholera outbreaks caused by multidrug-resistant strains of V. cholerae. Climate change and other environmental factors can influence the occurrence and dynamics of cholera outbreaks. Africa accounts for a significant proportion of global cholera cases and deaths. These studies collectively contribute to our understanding of cholera in Cameroon. They provide insights into the challenges faced in delivering care during outbreaks, the structure and functioning of the surveillance system, and the epidemiological patterns of cholera in the country. By studying cholera in Cameroon, we can gain valuable knowledge about the risk factors and challenges associated with cholera outbreaks, which can inform public health interventions and preparedness efforts. To summarise, studying Cholera in Cameroon is critical for understanding the epidemiology, risk factors, and issues connected with the country's cholera epidemics. The findings of this research can help policymakers and public health workers adopt effective cholera prevention and control methods in Cameroon. 24 pp. Englisch.

They are providers of income and employment for producers and others working in, sometimes complex, value chains. They are a crucial asset and safety net for the poor, especially for women and pastoralist groups, and they provide an important source of nourishment for billions of rural and urban households. These socio-economic roles and others are increasing in importance as the sector grows because of increasing human populations, incomes and urbanisation rates. To provide these benefits, the sector uses a significant amount of land, water, biomass and other resources and emits a considerable quantity of greenhouse gases. There is concern on how to manage the sector¿s growth, so that these benefits can be attained at a lower environmental cost.Livestock and environment interactions in developing countries in are both positive and negative. Livestock production in the developing world occurs in a wide range of heterogeneous production systems. These can range from pastoral/grassland-based systems, which occupy most of the land area and have low human population densities, through mixed crop-livestock systems, usually in areas suitable both for arable and livestock production and where the bulk of rural human population lives, and intensive systems usually in peri-urban/urban areas. New diversification options and improved safety nets will also be essential when intensification is not the primary avenue for developing the livestock sector. These processes will need to be supported by agile and effective public and private institutions. 20 pp. Englisch.

With technologies reaching the scale of 10 nm, static and dynamic power dissipation in CMOS VLSI circuits are major issues. Dynamic power dissipation is increased due to requirement of high speed and static power dissipation is at much higher side now a days even compared to dynamic power dissipation due to very high gate leakage current and subthreshold leakage. Low power consumption is equally important as speed in many applications since it leads to a reduction in the package cost and extended battery life. 20 pp. Englisch.

Actually, I think sports should be neutral and apolitical. However, top athletes ¿ who often have a great deal of influence in society ¿ can stimulate political discourse and even trigger larger debates, as Kaepernick did. Consequently, I wanted to investigate why Kaepernick and Nike were attacked in the ensuing controversy and why a debate was triggered between different political factions in the US.In the first chapter, I introduce media analysis. I examine how advertisements persuade their audience and how different media techniques and multimodality work together to capture the viewer¿s attention more effectively. Special emphasis is given to how metaphors are created and how they function, how a utopian world perspective is communicated through commercials and how producers make use of unique selling points to cleverly place their products on the market. I reference the texts covered in class but also contribute my own thoughts and experiences to reflect on the contents on a more personal level. In the second chapter, I discuss Nike and its famous ¿Dream Crazy¿ commercial from 2018. I begin by answering the question of why Nike, as a global corporation, is particularly important when it comes to analysing advertisements. Subsequently, I provide background on the commercial, share my thoughts upon first viewing it and analyse its media production. Once more, I consider metaphors, utopia, multimodality and unique selling points. Finally, I summarise the findings and draw a conclusion. 24 pp. Englisch.

Intercultural training programs are increasing in importance. Intercultural competence is an extremely complex phenomenon, and a combination of different training methods seems desirable, because combining different training approaches makes optimal use of their advantages while compensating for their shortcomings.A missionary is someone who has been trained and sent on a mission (preaching the good news about the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus to Heaven). Pastor is a shepherd of the flock (sheep); someone with a divine mandate (spiritual authority) to watch over the spirit, body and souls of people. Being a graduate of theological seminary / missionary institute, doesn't automatically make one become a pastoral counselor. It will take some level of training in pastoral counselling for a pastor / missionary to earn the title ¿Pastoral Counsellor¿. The pastoral counselor must be a trained therapist (pastor or missionary) that has been saddled with the responsibility of using the bible (as the main tool) in helping people (individual and family) to come to realization of possible options to attained a balanced life. One of the biggest responsibilities of training institutions is to help people develop the ability to respond appropriately to diversity in society. Furthermore, educators can contribute solutions to issues associated with unsuccessful intercultural interactions internationally. Providing instructions on how to interact appropriately with people from other cultures is essential, and the development of effective intercultural and Pastoral Counseling training programs is urgent.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 24 pp. Englisch.

Reasons for this are, for example, that many teachers are non-specialists or follow strictly the content of the curriculum or the teaching materials and, therefore, do not make the teaching varied. As a result, pupils are less motivated and do not get involved in learning. However, by formulating clear learning goals and using appropriate learning methods correctly and in a variety of ways, lessons can be designed to make both pupils and teachers feel comfortable and work together to achieve goals. This essay wants to show that the chosen method of movement can help in the process of vocabulary learning. To illustrate this, a lesson plan was created focusing on movement and vocabulary learning. The essay is structured as follows: First, it explains exactly what movement means in language teaching and learning and how it can be used effectively. Therefore, potential and limits will be considered. Afterwards, the goal of vocabulary learning will be explained. For both emphases, a connection will be established that is substantiated by the contents of the framework curriculum. In the following discussion, the content and structure of the lesson plan are explained and reasoned. During this presentation, another focus is on the use of different principles of early language learning and the use of differentiation in language teaching. Finally, in the conclusion, the most important arguments of the essay for the named learning goal and the method will be summarized.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 24 pp. Englisch.

According to second language researchers, second language pragmatics has been neglected but is slowly turning into a growing area in the field of SLA. The study of pragmatics is now seen as a substantial contribution to language acquisition and therefore, fostering the pragmatic competence of learners has become an important factor in the second language classroom. Its increased importance is due to the perception that pragmatic competence is necessary for the purpose of not only understanding the target language, but also of being understood in the target language, which shows its beneficial impact on communication and consequently on SLA.The structure of this term paper is as follows: the first part will consist of the definition of the terms ¿Pragmatics¿ and ¿Second Language Acquisition¿ and will illustrate each concept in order to demonstrate what exactly will be dealt with in this term paper. Afterwards, pragmatics will be viewed in relation to Second Language Acquisition to point out its importance for communicating successfully. Furthermore, the question whether pragmatic competence can be taught will be discussed. The fourth chapter will then deal with Krashen¿s input hypothesis, Long¿s interaction hypothesis and Swain¿s output hypothesis, each of which will be analysed in a pragmatic context as approaches that foster pragmatic knowledge. The subsequent chapter will on the other hand present Chomsky¿s universal grammar approach as an approach that makes it hard to practice pragmatic knowledge. The conclusion will summarize the findings and examine the advantages of pragmatics to point out its impact on communication as well as its role in second language acquisition. 16 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2022 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Literature, grade: 2,3, University of Duisburg-Essen (Anglophone Studies), course: Literary and cultural Studies, language: English, abstract: The primary concern of this paper is to analyse the social structure in Shakespeare`s 'The Winter`s Tale' based on values of honesty and loyalty, through two different approaches: The influential capability of women in the play and the animal imagery, used to show depreciation or devaluation of infidel behaviour. This analysis is based on the Arden edition of The Winter¿s Tale (2010), a modern critical edition, whose detailed notes and commentary guide us to a deeper understanding of Shakespeare¿s work.To achieve this goal, the paper is organized into three main sections, with each of them consisting of sub-sections. In the first section, some information about how women are represented in Shakespeare¿s Winter¿s Tale, the perception of their role and appearance in the social structure in the play is provided. In the second section, the main issues of gender inequality will be discussed with special attention paid to the principles of Primogeniture and Patrilineage and how they affect the position of women. Moreover, the same section focuses on qualities of honesty and fidelity, which seem to be the fundamental parts of the society in Shakespeare¿s play. In contrast to that, the last section, provides examples of figurative language, like animal imagery and discusses how they shape the image of dishonest and unfaithful women. In the conclusion, the most important perspectives discussed in this paper will be demonstrated, and research questions will be offered that could be answered in other research papers in the future. The first impression one has while reading Shakespeare¿s play The Winter¿s Tale is that adult male characters are almost omnipotent. The jealous King Leontes interprets falsely the actions of his wife and convinced of being right, no matter what she claims, he orders her imprisonment. Two lords at court and king¿s attendants are also shown to take their fate into their own hands. Firstly, Leontes loyal retainer, Camillo - who has been ordered to poison the Bohemian king - decides to warn Polixenes, and the two men flee Sicilia immediately. Secondly, lord Antigonus has been ordered to take Hermione¿s child and abandon it in some desolate place. Rather than do so, he decides to follow the directions of a dream and leaves the infant with gold and other objects on a beach in Bohemia. 20 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Academic Paper from the year 2018 in the subject Law - Miscellaneous, University of Pretoria, course: International criminal law, language: English, abstract: The Current Decentralized Accountability question entails a consideration of the following important principles and issues: positive complementarity, complementarity, universal jurisdiction, and the role of regional and international organization in international criminal justice as partners with the International Criminal Court (ICC). In this comment, the focus lies on providing a foundational analysis on the policy of positive complementarity so as to intensely inform further discourse. It is the argument of this contribution that the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the Government of Colombia, on 28 October 2021, has invariably provoked unabating scholarly discourse, which has engendered a renewed impetus to revisit the definition, nature and scope of the concept of positive complementarity. Inimical to this discourse is the glaring dearth of available literature of the law on positive complementarity, accentuated by the virtually absence of pertinent authoritative jurisprudence of the ICC on the concept. In light of the preceding impediments, this paper seeks, in an overarching approach, to revisit the debate on the nature of the concept of positive complementarity. It re-explores the opportunities presented, the benefits generated, and the challenges posed by the development and implementation of the concept of positive complementarity in the realm of international criminal justice. 40 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Document from the year 2023 in the subject Business economics - Review of Business Studies, , language: English, abstract: The following paper analyses the industrial revolutions, going from the first to the fourth, and their significance in the development of globalization and its presumed end in an increasingly connected and hyper-technological world. The result of the industrial revolutions has enormously changed the meaning of production and sociology over the times leading to the variation of systems and the challenge for new resources, even immaterial ones. The continuous expansion of the markets from the free trade theories of Adam Smith to the interventionist and laissez-faire theories of John Maynard Keynes found a confirmation in the antithetical reasonings of Karl Marx which somehow, albeit contradictory, partially resurface in Jeremy's theories of the Sharing Economy Rifkin paving the way for the fourth industrial revolution into which the increasingly global and technological connection of the third industrial revolution has led us. Can we therefore speak of a Second Globalization of markets and industries or the end of this era of connections in which the world is hyper-connected 40 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper in the subject Business economics - Business Management, Corporate Governance, , language: English, abstract: This article delves into the concept of open innovation, as defined by Henry Chesbrough in 2003, emphasizing the utilization of both inflows and outflows of knowledge to enhance internal innovation and expand external markets. It contrasts open innovation with the traditional closed innovation model, highlighting the shift toward openness, particularly among SMEs and startups. Additionally, it categorizes open innovation into inside-out and outside-in processes, underscoring the multifaceted advantages of the latter, such as accessing external expertise, aligning innovation with customer needs, and leveraging crowdsourcing for cost-effective idea generation and problem-solving. Open innovation emerges as a strategic approach suited for resource-constrained entities like SMEs.Henry Chesbrough coined the term of open innovation in his book 'Open Innovation: The New Imperative for Creating and Profiting from Technology' which was published in 2003. He defined open innovation method as the use of purposive inflows and outflows of knowledge to accelerate internal innovation, and expand the markets for external use of innovation, respectively. Practically, Open Innovation is more decentralized approach towards innovation. While adapting the open innovation approach, businesses and companies distribute knowledge. Not only they incorporate external ideas, inventions into their invention, but they also expose internally developed technologies, ideas and inventions to other companies and businesses. Thus, this process makes the invention process more open. 24 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2023 in the subject Business economics - Miscellaneous, grade: 1, Kozminski University, language: English, abstract: The widely understood institutionalism is an interdisciplinary research area, of which institutions are the central issue. Approaches used in this area are divided into 'old' and 'new', also the division into classic and contemporary approaches is used. In practice, there are at least several research trends in various disciplines of social sciences, which is referred to as 'new institutionalism.' They differ in paradigmatic basis, main research problems or applied methods. The common ground is the belief in the key role of institutions in shaping social, economic and political life. In total, these trends constitute a renaissance of interest in this subject. The new institutionalism, as a fully-fledged (institutionalized) perspective, created a new paradigm (especially in the field of economics), which was formed for good in the 1980s.Institutional theory defines 'institutions' as social phenomena which, due to the interaction of civic or public involvement, entrepreneurship, social norms and traditions, become common foundations of social life. These systems arise from subjective human interaction but at the same time, they are perceived by the participants as objective and stable. In addition, institutions are the basic elements of social contexts in which formal organizations are embedded.Institutionalism means a general approach to the study of political institutions, a set of theoretical ideas and hypotheses regarding the relationship between institutional traits and the political agenda, achievements and changes. Institutionalism emphasizes the endogenous character and social construction of political institutions.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 20 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Academic Paper in the subject Leadership and Human Resources - Miscellaneous, , language: English, abstract: The central research topic of this paper is to present these causal relationships, interactions and the role model function of corporate management, especially in small and medium-sized enterprises. A paradigmatic application case is ergonomic workplace design and company integration management. For empirical validation, guideline-based expert interviews were conducted as part of a pilot study. The evaluation according to Mayring of the general aspects, workplace health promotion and workplace health management in the surveyed companies or small and medium-sized enterprises revealed the following: The vast majority (six out of eight) of the interviewed companies have already established workplace health management and workplace health promotion. Corresponding background knowledge is available, and the instruments developed for this purpose are consciously used to increase (external and internal) employer attractiveness, to promote employee retention and commitment.Occupational health management and workplace health promotion can counteract a negative trend in individual sectors and facilitate staff recruitment. It also reduces absenteeism and improves company performance indicators. The involvement of the primarily responsible management and organisational anchoring in the company are named as decisive prerequisites for success. Modern forms of work organisation (remote work and home office) also play a special role. The workforce reacts predominantly with approval, especially since today's labour market is an employee market. The modern economic and working world is dominated by two megatrends: globalisation and digitalisation. Companies have to do everything they can to survive economically in a competitive situation that has become more intense as a result. The work situation is therefore becoming increasingly complex and stressful. This leads to increased mental and physical strain on employees, is the cause of their dissatisfaction and promotes absenteeism and presenteeism.A growing shortage of skilled workers and demographic change also ensure that the demand for workplace health promotion and comprehensive corporate health management is gaining ground. Health and satisfaction at the workplace ensure motivation and commitment, increase company results and value even in times of crisis and have an indirect effect on public health.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 20 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2023 in the subject Medicine - Hospital Environment, Clinical Medicine, , course: AP Capstone Research, language: English, abstract: This study looks into how biological racial biases held by middle-aged, hispanic nurses impact their levels of attentiveness towards patients of racial minorities. Although several studies have helped contextualize the problem regarding disparities in medical treatment amongst patients of different backgrounds, none specifically have looked into how biological racial biases impact the treatment of racial minorities by middle-aged nurses or Hispanic nurses. Middle-aged nurses were chosen for this study because studies have evaluated how age may impact a person¿s levels of racism, yet they used two extremes, being people in their 20s or their 70-90s. No research has been done on racism in middle-aged participants.Hispanic nurses were chosen for this study because the majority of people in Miami are Hispanic and I wanted to evaluate how this would influence their levels of attentiveness towards patients of racial minorities being a part of a racial minority themselves. 30 nurses would participate in the study. They completed a three-part questionnaire on Google Forms. The three-part survey was created to draw accurate conclusions between racial attitudes toward minorities and biological racial biases held by the nurses and how they affect their levels of attentiveness toward patients based on their race or ethnicity. This study shows a negative correlation between the holding of biological racial and low levels of attentiveness in these middle-aged Hispanic nurses. However, there was a correlation between those who believed in five or more common biological racial biases and poor levels of attentiveness regarding patients of racial minorities. These findings can be used by hospitals to provide a reflection of their medical staff, promote the elimination of biological racial biases in medical schools, and draw connections between these results and those of other nurses of non-Hispanic descent. 28 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2023 in the subject Biology - Genetics / Gene Technology, grade: 3.95, Haramaya University (CAES), course: Animal and Range Scineces, language: English, abstract: There is an urgent need to document the diversity of our livestock genetic resources and to design strategies for their sustainable conservation and the main objective of this review is to exploring. The world watch list for domestic animal diversity documents more than 6 300 breeds and 7616 breeds of livestock belonging to 30 domesticated species. These breeds were developed following domestication and natural and human selection over the past 12 000 years. The current number of breeds is likely an underestimation since a large proportion of indigenous livestock populations of the developing world, where most animal genetic resources are found today; have yet to be described at phenotypic and genetic levels. The predominant species include cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, horses and buffalo.Several other domesticated animals like camels, donkeys, elephants, reindeer and rabbits are also valuable to different regions of the world. Cattle, sheep, chickens, are predominantly found all over the world, while goats and pigs are less uniformly distributed. Livestock populations have evolved a unique adaptation to their agricultural production system and agro ecological environments. Their genetic diversity has provided the material for the very successful breeding improvement programmes of the developed world in the 19th and 20th century. This represents a unique resource to respond to the present and future needs of livestock production, both in developed and developing countries. Recognizes The well importance of animal production for food security and rural livelihoods and particularly AnGR supply over 30% of total human requirements for food and agriculture and contribute to the livelihood of 70% of the world¿s rural poor. However, the purposes of raising livestock go beyond their direct output functions and include other significant economic and cultural roles. These include savings, insurance, cyclical buffering, accumulation and diversification, as well as various cultural roles related to status and the obligations of their owners. 36 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2024 in the subject Nature Protection, Landscape Conservation, grade: A, Mekelle University (Climate change and rural development), course: Climate change, environment and development, language: English, abstract: Land degradation in terms of soil erosion and nutrient depletion affects soil physical, chemical and biological properties; crop yield and income growth particularly crop income. Yet a basic assumption underlying the interventions in developing countries, mostly the degraded agricultural areas, is that adoption of soil and water conservation (SWC) practice has the potential to improve available soil nutrients specially carbon content, crop yield and crop income by reducing soil erosion. Less attention, however, has been given to specifying and linking the effect of adopted SWC practices influences (or specifically, improves) soil nutrients and crop yield; their impact on crop income and the factors influencing them in Ethiopia. Partly to fill this limitation, this review aims to look at the effects of adopted SWC practice in cultivated highlands of Ethiopia; the factors influencing them and their implications for soil and crop yield, carbon sequestration and crop income. Several findings indicated that SWC practices affected to soil bulk density (BD) negatively; and soil reaction (PH), potassium (K), available phosphorus (P), total nitrogen (N), soil organic carbon (SOC), soil organic matter (SOM), cation exchange capacity (CEC), texture, exchangeable sodium (N+), calcium (Ca+2), magnesium (Mg+2), other micro nutrients, crop yield and income positively. In addition, the review paper concerns that adoption of soil and water conservation practices has a positive impact for some agricultural soil and crop productivity, while negative impacts for some others, thus, a dynamic soil nutrient analysis should be more appropriate to improve agricultural productivity. 28 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2022 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Linguistics, grade: 1,3, Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald (Anglistik), course: History of English, language: English, abstract: The English language changed throughout its periods of existence. This development was, for example, influenced by other languages. The Latin language contains specific lexical and morphological features which the English language inherited. In order to understand which and why the features were taken from Latin and therefore influenced the English lexis and morphology, this paper will give a general overview about the development of the English language and the relationship to and influence of Latin. The morphological and lexical features of affixes will be examined in detail. The English language encountered other languages like Celtic or Scandinavian as well, but the strong relationship between Latin and English is undeniable, which marks the relevance for this paper. A reason English borrowed features of Latin, is the importance of the language in the past. Latin was a Lingua Franca, such as English is a Lingua Franca now. But Latin disappeared as a first language in the past. Nevertheless, several languages which are called ¿Latin variants¿ took over the language features of Latin. Such languages are Spanish, French, or Italian, which are Romance languages. These Latin stemmed languages came in contact with English and therefore influenced its development. The most prominent language contact in the Latin stemmed field of languages is French. 28 pp. Englisch.
