Written over seventy years ago Man and Technics is a tireless, juicy polemic presenting a merciless case for social pessimism. Spengler blasts away at utopianism and political optimism, using a fierce and iconoclastic stream of language. Colourful insights leap off the page at the reader, and the underlying logic, while questionable in places, is based on a clear vision of the the worldlings of society. The fundamental premise of the book is that the world is governed by natural forces, forces in man and nature, not genteel political and religious creeds. All in all, Man and Technics is the work of an astute intellect, keen to the true operation of the universe It contains startling and refreshing ideas guaranteed to stimulate your thinking, if not re-arrange your whole world-view. From book:OSWALD SPENGLER is one of the most important intellectuals of the Twentieth Century and his major work, The Decline of the West, a massive effort which ran to over 1,000 pages and two volumes, had sold 100,000 copies by 1927.Oswald Spengler was born in 1880 and he was an isolated and somewhat incorrigible figure; a retired schoolteacher who endured penury in order to complete his massive work; the magnum opus to which he devoted his life. He once described himself as a lone scribbler, a man who peered into cultures from the outside - an analyst of meta-cultural phenomena - a man who dissected the rise, decline and fall of various civilizations - all of which he anatomised in the manner of plants, whose botanical propensities he classified à la Goethe. In a sense, therefore, he was a taxonomist of culture; a man who 'worked over' cultures, who tagged, docketed and examined them like specimens on the laboratory bench.Oswald Spengler always believed that the inner reasons for Western collapse could be brought to the surface and this was something which struck a particular chord at the end of the Great War. When European civilization was prostrate and exhausted - wracked with pain and dissolution, as the abortive German revolution began which led to the collapse of the Prussian monarchy and its replacement with Weimar, a nominally democratic republic which rested on the guns of the Freikorps who had put down the Communists.

(Hard to list as 'New' when it's over 20 years old). 68pp. You are about to hear Leon Degrelle, who before the Second World War was Europe's youngest political leader and the founder of the Rexist Party of Belgium. During that cataclysmic confrontation he was one of the greatest heroes on the Eastern Front.Of Leon Degrelle, Hitler said: "If I should have a son I would like him to be like Leon."As a statesman and a soldier he has known very closely Hitler, Mussolini, Churchill, Franco, Laval, Marshal Petain and all the European leaders during the enormous ideological and military clash that was World War Two. Alone among them, he has survived, remaining the number one witness of that historical period. The life of Leon Degrelle began in 1906 in Bouillon, a small town in the Belgian Ardennes. His family was of French origin. He studied at the University of Louvain, where he acquired a doctorate in law. He was-and is ?also interested in other academic disciplines, such as political science, art, archeology and Tomistic philosophy. As a student his natural gift of leadership became apparent. By the time he reached twenty he had already published five books and operated his own weekly newspaper. Out of his deep Christian conviction he joined Belgium's Catholic Action Movement and became one of its leaders. But his passion has always been people. He wanted to win the crowds, particularly the Marxist ones.He wanted them to share his ideals of social and spiritual change for society. He wanted to lift people up; to forge for them a stable, efficient and responsible state, a state backed by the good sense of people and for the sole benefit of the people. He addressed more than 2,000 meetings, always controversial. His books and newspaper were read everywhere because they always dealt with the real issues. Although not yet twenty-five, people listened to him avidly. In a few short years he had won over a large part of the population. On the twenty-fourth of May 1936 his Rexist Party won against the established parties a smashing electoral victory: Thirty-four house and senate seats. The Europe of 1936 was still split into little countries, jealous of their pasts and closed to any contact with their neighbors.Leon Degrelle saw further. In his student days he had travelled across Latin America, the United States and Canada. He had visited North Africa, the Middle East and of course all of the European countries. He felt that Europe had a unique destiny and must unite.Mussolini invited him to Rome. Churchill saw him in London and Hitler received him in Berlin.Putting his political life on the line, he made desperate efforts to stop the railroading of Europe into another war. But old rivalries, petty hatreds and suspicion between the French and the German, were cleverly exploited. The established parties and the Communist Party worked on the same side: for war. For the Kremlin it was a unique opportunity to communize Europe after it had been bled white. Thus, war started. First in Poland, then in Western Europe in 1940. This was to become the Second World War in 1941.Soon the flag of the Swastika flew from the North Pole to the shores of Greece to the border of Spain. But the European civil war between England and Germany continued. And the rulers of Communism got ready to move in and pick up the pieces. But Hitler beat them to it and invaded the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. For Europe it was to be heads or tails; Hitler wins or Stalin wins.It was then that from every country in Europe thousands of young men made up their minds that the destiny of their native country was at stake. They would volunteer their lives to fight communism and create a united Europe. In all, they would grow to be more than 600,000 non-German of divisions to the Waffen SS.Europeans fighting on the Eastern Front. They would bring scores The Waffen SS were ideological and military shock troops of minority.Europe. The Germans, numbering 400,000 were actuall.

William Brooke Joyce (24 April 1906 ? 3 January 1946), nicknamed Lord Haw-Haw, was an American-born fascist and Nazi propaganda broadcaster during the Second World War. After moving from New York to Ireland and subsequently to England, Joyce became a member of Oswald Mosley's British Union of Fascists (BUF) from 1932, before finally moving to Germany at the outset of the war where he took Nazi German citizenship in 1940.From the book:"IT WAS a bitterly cold morning on January 3rd 1946. In a small chapel in Galway, Ireland, mass was being said for an American citizen about to be hanged in England's grim Wandsworth Prison. The condemned prisoner was still writing his farewell notes as the liturgy began. His notes ended:"In death, as in this life, I defy the Jews who caused this last war: and I defy the power of Darkness which they represent. I warn the British people against the aggressive Imperialism of the Soviet Union.May Britain be great once again; and, in the hour of greatest danger to the West, may the standard of the Hakenkreuz (Swastika) be raised from the dust, crowned with the historic words "Thr habt doch gesiegt!" (Still you have won!); and I am sorry for the sons of Britain who have died without knowing why."The Consecration of this mass with others was timed to coincide with the young American's departing soul at 9.00am. The baying mob, given a spurious legitimacy by England's judiciary, had dragged the infamous gallows of Tyburn into the 20th Century. And so the soul of William Joyce, who had fought so tenaciously for the racial security and Christian integrity of Europe, was separated from his mortal existence."The above extract from The Martyrdom of William Joyce sets the tone for this informative work about a truly courageous and remarkable man, William Joyce. Michael Walsh's fact-filled study will be welcomed by many for giving information normally omitted by Establishment-oriented histories.

(Hard to list as New when it's 41 years old) Henry E Garrett, Ph.D. Sc.D. presents a lucid, concise ad irrefutable brief for an educational system designed to accomodate racial variations in intelligence rather than rely on the dangerous fiction that all races are gifted with equal learning capacity. The fictional approach, heavily promoted by liberals for the past three decades, has been largely responsible for the intellectual, moral and physical turmoil now tearing at the vitals of American, and now British, schools. Dr Garrett's forthright book provides a rational and comprehensive study of the arguments for heredity as the prime determinant of human learning. IDs thesis deserves careful study and attention if the deterioration of our once great Western educational system is to be brought to a halt. ABOUT THE AUTHOR- Henry E Garrett received his Ph.D. from Columbia University and for sixteen years (1940 - 56) headed Columbia's Department of Psychology. In 1954 he was awarded the Sc.D. by the University of Richmond . At one time or another Dr. Garrett has been visiting professor at the University of California, the University of Southern California, The University of Florida, the University of Hawaii, the University of New Mexico and the University of Virginia. Dr Garrett is past president of the Eastern Psychological Association, the Psychometric Society and the American Psychological Association. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of science and a former member of the National Rersearch Council. The author of many books, articles and monographs.

(Hard to list as 'New' when it's 22 years old). âDr. Oliver concluded that one of the major weaknesses of our nation and civilization was its religion, which had been, since the latter years of the Roman Empire, some form of Christianity. With the objectivity of the scholar which he in fact was, he set out over the last decade and a half of his life to trtace the religion to its roots in the Middle East and to analyze the birth and mutation of its basic characters and ideas. The result is the book you hold in your hands today." Kevin Alfred Strom.
Paperback. Condizione: As New. Unread and unopened! (Hard to sat New when it's 20 years old) In this work the author advances some reflections on the religiosity of the Indo-Europeans - that is to say, the Indo-European speaking peoples originating from a common Bronze Age nucleus. By comparing the structure of the Indian, Persian, Sacaean, Armenian, Slavic and Baltic languages, and of the Greek, Italian, Celtic and Teutonic dialects, we can reach a conclusion as to a common or primal Indo-European language, approximating to the latter part of the early Stone Age. In the same way, an examination of the laws and legal customs of the different peoples of Inda-European language reveals a primal Inda-European feeling for law. Similarly, from a comparison of the religious forms of these peoples we can identify a particular religious attitude emanating from the Indo-European nature - a distinctive behaviour of the Indo-European races towards the divine powers. Religious belief has a profound effects upon our lives and upon the race and civilization to which we belong. Religions produce not only cultural artifacts but they also constitute a controlling influence over what men think, and therefore also over what men do, thus influencing the shape of the future. Professor Gunther examines here the inate religiosity of the European peoples. Cover: Prometheus l1 - a sculpture by Arno Breker inspired by the Greek myth of Prometheus, who stole fire from the Gods.

What of their education and career pattern? How did they carry on their profession and by what rules were they constrained? For whom did they act and why? This book investigates questions such as these and described the impact made by members of the nascent legal profession on Scottish culture, politics and social life in the first half of the sixteenth century.".
