The story tells of the ranchers & mountain men alike who battle the massive elk herds, the long hard winters, and the oncoming of civilization to the country. The book is a recounting of the breadth and depth of the Jackson Hole country, told in a manner that will keep you from putting this book down until you have read it in its entirety.
