A survey was conducted on a sample of respondents drawn from IGH in order to consider statistically significant relationships between financial performance and components of cash management at length. The data were analyzed using SPSS. Empirical findings of the study reveal a significant positive relationship between cash management and financial performance with cash planning predicting 64.2%, cash flow management 69.7% and cash surplus management 76.9% of the variance in financial performance in IGH respectively. However when considering the sub components of these variables, were not significant predictors of financial performance in IGH. The study concluded that there was a need for IGH to improve policies on cash budgeting,cash cycle planning, cash surplus investment as well as deficit cash financing since these were found to have a significant effect on its financial performance. 112 pp. Englisch.

This study tried to investigate if there are differences in Internet banking adoption behaviour between Ghana and Sweden. One bank each from Ghana and Sweden was selected for this study. The study employed the extended technology acceptance model and it was based on using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Questionnaires were accordingly administered to some selected Internet banking customers of the two banks selected for this study. The study concludes that there is only a marginal or subtle difference in the adoption behaviour in Internet banking between Ghana and Sweden, and that, the low patronage of Internet banking in Ghana as compared to that of Sweden is due to reasons other than customers' adoption behaviour. 88 pp. Englisch.

Since literature suggested that compared to CAC instruments, economic instruments are cost-effective, this study set out to examine whether fuel tax is indeed preferable. Quantitative analysis was carried out to evaluate the cost- effectiveness of policy measures. Toxicity weightage factors were assigned to the criteria pollutants to derive a composite index of toxic load' inventory while the prevailing costs were used for calculation. The findings of the research were mixed. While banning of new two-stroke motorcycles was found to be most cost-effective, setting of emissions standards for diesel vehicles was least cost-effective. The cost-effectiveness of a fuel tax was calculated for different tax regimes and found to fall in between.
