Thus, this study comes to present a composite picture of consumers'…perceptions and attitudes toward the marketing practices in Egypt. The ICSM index which was developed by Gaski and Etzel (1986), is adopted as a measurement instrument to collect the data of this study. Overall, the research found that consumers carry negative attitudes towards the marketing practices of the Egyptian business firms. The findings also reveal on significant differences between the Egyptian and Arab consumers in terms of their attitudes toward marketing practices. The differences were found on both the aggregate level of ICSM, and the sub-scales (product, price, advertising, and selling) of which the index consists. Finally, the results indicate that the consumers' attitudes toward marketing practices differ significantly according to their demographics. Measuring and analyzing the attitudes and perceptions of consumers toward to the marketing practices of business firms can lead to conclude some useful insights to the marketing managers. 84 pp. Englisch.

We will discuss the aspects of control theory, which are the most useful in applications to the r…eal problems of quantum optics. We apply this technique to control the behavior of the two-level quantum particles in the modulated external optical field in the frame of the so-called 'semi classical model', where quantum two-level atomic system interacts with classical electromagnetic field. In chapter 1 we give some basic definitions, terminologies and preliminary results related to applied control theory. In chapter 2 we propose a simple model of feedforward control for the quantum particle system, which is a basement for further investigation of two-level quantum particle in the external one-dimensional optical field. In chapter 3 we demonstrate the possibility to stabilize the probability amplitudes of the upper level for a single quantum two-level atom in a classical optical field with feedback control scheme. In chapter 4 an effective quantum particle beam-splitter is realized in the frame of open- loop control scheme. 68 pp. Englisch.

Noise in the temperature data causes unbounded numerical derivatives with increasing sampling rate. However, it has theoretically been demonstrated that a stable and accurate heat flux can be predicted using the time derivative of temperature (dT/dt) even in the presence of significant white noise. This motivates this work in developing a voltage rate sensor interface for low-frequency applications in solid heat conducting bodies. The present concept is to amplitude modulate the voltage data and then differentiate them at a higher frequency. The voltage rate interface, which is used in conjunction with an existing in situ temperature sensor, can deliver real-time heating rate with improved SNR, which is verified by both simulation and experiments. The SNR is also shown to improve with increasing sampling rate, which is an advantage of this interface. 104 pp. Englisch.

However, NFC still remains as a field that number of researches done are limited. The aim of this paper was to provide solutions for the problems of NFC that cause security risks and hurt user experience. To reach this goal we have reviewed the current literature and implemented an NFC application that we have used throughout our user experience tests. This application provides a practical way to store and transfer contact information using NFC. This book presents a new STBC design method that combines two real orthogonal STBCs (O-STBC) with offset QAM. This approach is able to achieve both full diversity and full code rate, yet allows simple real symbol wise decoding whose complexity is independent of the number of transmit antennas. Their socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge, perc…eption and cue to action on HIV/AIDS as well as their safe sex behaviors were found out.Safe sex behaviors in this study are no sex with unknown partner,intention of faithfulness to spouse or partner, intention to use condom and consistent condom use.Out of 260 respondents, 69.6% are in moderate level behavior,15.4% in good and 15.0% in poor level. Consistent condom use is 55.8%.Data analysis shows that there were relationship between age, gender,educational level, marital status, occupation, knowledge level, perception level, media, influencing person, experience of seeing AIDS patient factors and safe sex behavior.Health personnel are the most influencing person. Continuation of health education and workplace condom promotion program should be encouraged more. Joint cooperation of local authorities,provincial health office and NGOs must be appreciated more.A further in-depth qualitative study about safe sex behaviors among them should be done. 96 pp. Englisch.

There are various orbit determination strategies in which the GPS observables are involved. This book investigates different algorithms using the data from the GPS receiver on board the first Turkish remote sensing micro-satellite BilSAT-1. Pseudorange observations of BilSAT-1 obtained from TÜB TAK-UZAY are used to perform different orbit determination algorithms. Both a kinematic orbit determination approach with least squares estimation on the basis of Gauss- Markoff model and reduced-dynamic orbit determination approach with Kalman filter estimation algorithms are investigated to explore the affects of variations in the algorithms. 88 pp. Englisch.
