Aspirin is used in versatile purpose such as, anti-inflammatory (in joint diseases), anti-platelets (in cardiovascular disease), analgesic and antipyretic. The aim of present investigation is to study the effect of oral administration of drug acetylsalicylic acid (ASA, aspirin) on female albino rat, Rattus norvegicus. The female rats (n=24) were allocated into 2 groups as control (n=12) and treated (n=12). The treated rats were given oral dose of aspirin 100 mg/ kg body weight for 15 days (n=6) and 30 days (n=6). The present investigation results suggest that the high doses of ASA, induced histopathological changes in liver, kidney and reproductive organs directly or indirectly through modulation of certain biochemical and enzymological activities. The study investigated the effects of temporal employment on effectiveness of workers in Secondary schools in Butula Sub-County in Kenya. The study provides both qualitative and quantitative aspects of effects of temporal employment on effectiveness of workers performance in Secondary schools. The study established that temporary employees work for long hours, are paid very little money and they can lose their jobs anytime. They also face the problem of lack of job security and almost all temporary employees wished to be employed permanently. The study therefore indicated that there is need for proper integration of temporal employees with regular employees for improved service delivery.

Eucalyptus sp. formed a closed canopy limiting light penetration and causing an increase in the height of the indigenous trees. L. camara releases chemicals (allelopathy) into the soil suppressing the regeneration of the indigenous trees. It is recommended that further research and monitoring be done to establish the rate of spread of the exotics in order to strategize and prioritize on their eradication and control on the varied ecosystems of Khami World Heritage Site.
