Samples were collected from six points; Raw effluent [P-1], Oil and grease trap [P-2], Equalization tank [P-3], Aeration tank 1 [P-4], Aeration tank 2 [P-5] and Secondary clarifier [P-6] to evaluate the performance of WWTP. Parameters analyzed for evaluation of performance of WWTP are COD, BOD5 at 20° C, TSS, Total Nitrogen, Phosphorous, oil and grease, Chloride and Sulphates.

Epicotyl grafting is cheaper and quick method of propagation with a success rate of 75.80 %. Moreover, it is more preferable for high density planting due to erect growth habit and uniform ap…pearance as compared to approach grafting. In epicotyl grafts, newly emerged leaves of mango grafts will fall down after two of months. It might be due to the less combining activity of cambium union at scion and rootstock joint and at the same time transpiration rate may be more from leaves and it generates pressure on xylem vessels for gaining water loss in order to reduce transpiration loss from grafts ultimately plant will drop off leaves which leading to lesser survival of grafts at the end. Owing to the problems among the nurserymen and farmers of south Gujarat, a study has been conducted to know effect of antitranspirants on growth and survival of epicotyl grafts of mango (Mangifera indica L.) cv. Kesar after successful sprouting. Based on the results of the experiment it can be concluded that the spray of Kaolin (2.5%) showed superior results in compare to other antitranspirants.

In this project, Fractional Flow Theory is applied to the generation of pseudo relative permeability curves for i) constant flow rate condition, and ii) constant pressure boundary condition. The method differs from previous methodologies and studies, which are all based on a piston-like displacement for water flooding. Instead, this new model uses fractional flow theory to generate a pseudo relative permeability curve that is physically more realistic. The solution is extended to generate pseudo relative permeability curves for simulating the waterflood of a reservoir under the constant pressure boundaries which is a more realistic assumption in compared to constant flow rate.

Following this, a reporter gene, luciferase, was used for testing promoter activity and its effect on CAIII expression. The goal was to inhibit EVI-1 expression in fibroblast cells by targeting the gene with siRNA.
