A long run co-integration relationship among variables is found to exist with an error correction term indicating that economic agents will in the short run slowly adjust towards the long run equilibrium. We find that food shortages increase the demand for narrow money in Zimbabwe. Other factors such as inflation, population growth, income, the exchange rate and the return on the industrial index are also important determinants of the short run transactions holdings of money. There is also evidence of some structural instability in the transactions demand for money in Zimbabwe. The result of the analysis shows that education level of households, Age, Public sector and informal private worker employees have significant and positive contribution to per capita consumption expenditure while household size and age square has a significant and negative contribution. The results show that the implementation of inflation targeting has effectively reduced the inflation rate and stimulates high output growth. The reduction of inflation rate is larger in developing economies but the gain in higher output growth is larger in developed economies. On the other hand, there is strong evidence that inflation targeting has led to higher volatility in exchange rate of developed economies. Furthermore, the deviations of inflation and output gap have increased in the post-IT period in few economies. However, we do not find evidence that inflation targeting induces trade-off relationship between inflation and output gap as the trade-off relationship between inflation and output gap also detected in the pre-IT period. Production and marketing studies were used to explore the cost parameters of the production and marketing and understand the inefficiency during production process and marketing channels. To observe the inefficiency during production, stochastic frontier production was used by using the primary data from two Tehsils of the Sargodha region known as Pakistan's California. It was concluded that all the input variables was directly related to technical efficiency except irrigation. Negative sign of the irrigation showed inverse relationship between irrigation and technical efficiency due to intercrop irrigation which resulted in over irrigation. Technical inefficiency model showed a positive relationship between age of the farmers, years of education and source of credit (dummy variable) while age-squared is inversely related to technical inefficiency. These devices are light weighted wireless sensor nodes which can be easily mounted on the patient's limbs. Data captured by the device can be streamed to a computer for real-time processing. The Matlab algorithms for step detection are converted to C++ code so they can be used in the EyesWeb environment. Whereas Matlab code can only serve post-processing, the Shimmer's Bluetooth datastream can now be processed in real-time, since the EyesWeb environment supports real-time execution. Hence the Visual Studio environment is needed to design the algorithms into C++ based EyesWeb blocks.
