With advancements of technology, it demands on the development of alternative ways to present the best form of brain data, and to efficiently access and use it. In order to reconcile these requirements, we worked on the Formal Conceptual Model of Human Brain. We defined its architecture and concomitant storage, retrieval and manipulation techniques. We applied the most efficient available secondary indexing structure, B+ tree, to increase the performance of search and retrieval. We also extend the regular Structured Query Language (SQL) and define some operators specific to the proposed Model. In our opinion, the proposed techniques give new and effective ways to deal with human brain data. Also, the implementation of these techniques aimed to provide better support for scientists and researchers in carrying out their tasks in an efficient and easy manner. 64 pp. Englisch.

The most important SAR image quality assessments are spatial resolution, differential resolution, ISLR and PSLR. It is seen that elliptic areas are more suitable for delimitation of mainlobe and sidelobe areas of a UWB SAR image than rectangular areas for measurements of ISLR and PSLR. For this purpose a newly defined Impulse Response Function (IRF-SAR) is used instead of the widely used sinc function. In this book, the simulated CARABAS-II data is employed and the simulations are performed by Matlab. Global back projection (GBP), a time domain algorithm is used due to its time-domain characteristics such as extreme range migration handling and manageable motion compensation. But its main limitation is computational cost. This book uses a simple and causal writing style to presents the SAR image quality measurements pleasantly and nicely so that readers can enjoy it easily. 64 pp. Englisch.

After inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to each publication, six studies were relevant to contamination of inanimate objects, the transmission of pathogens, and the potential for nosocomial infections. Based on quantitative analysis, energy based method was found to be better than phase based approach. It has been found that the computational time on Linux platform is better in comparison with MATLAB and embedded DSP processor. So, the points which are taken into account in developing the model for searching the landmines in optimal time are checking the metal of landmine with battery content, heat generation of those portions of land where the landmines exists, determine the optimized path from source to destination along with the detection of landmines and generation of transition rule of cellular automata. Therefore, we develop a deterministic algorithm with the help of an optimization technique i.e. Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Cellular Automata (CA) which will optimize the search of landmines, searching both locally and globally, in much less time as compared to any other method and also limiting the chances of PSO of getting trapped in the local optima. This work was aimed to develop suitable voltammetric methods such as CV, SW, and DPV for dipyrone study using glassy carbon electrode and to study the electrochemical behavior of dipyrone in a buffer solution at different concentrations, pH, and scan rates. In cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry techniques, dipyrone undergoes four consecutive irreversible oxidation reactions at different oxidation potentials. While using differential pulse voltammetry, dipyrone undergoes two consecutive irreversible oxidation reactions. The peak at 0.45 V shows consistent behavior in all the techniques used under different experimental conditions. The anodic peak current of dipyrone decreases as pH increases but at higher pH the first oxidation reaction takes place at lower potential. the effect of concentration and scan rate is the same for all techniques. 60 pp. Englisch.

One important aspect of the disease is gait disturbance, which can be discovered in the early stages of the disease. This disturbance can be meas…ured using three dimensional accelerometers, which are present in the Shimmer device. These devices are light weighted wireless sensor nodes which can be easily mounted on the patient's limbs. Data captured by the device can be streamed to a computer for real-time processing. The Matlab algorithms for step detection are converted to C++ code so they can be used in the EyesWeb environment. Whereas Matlab code can only serve post-processing, the Shimmer's Bluetooth datastream can now be processed in real-time, since the EyesWeb environment supports real-time execution. Hence the Visual Studio environment is needed to design the algorithms into C++ based EyesWeb blocks. This real-time detection algorithm can be applied easily in small and inexpensive lab environments to calculate and obtain the Parkinson's disease severity parameters. Hereby conclusions can be made to prevent the progress of the disease and to treat Parkinson's disorder in early stages. 96 pp. Englisch.

We conclude that survivin does not induce considerable humoral responses in lung cancer.
