Following the declaration of religious uniformity at the Council of Boru-Méda, he was converted to Christianity & was renamed Mikaél with the title Ras. His conversion to Christianity helped…him to remain in power. He also established strong relationship with Emperors Yohannes and Menilek. This paved way for him to have a significant part in the politics of the time. On May 31, 1914, he was crowned as king of Wällo and Tigray. Negus Mikaél made various contributions in the history of late 19th& early 20th centuries Ethiopia. Beyond participating in the creation of the Modern Ethiopian Empire, he played a significant role at the battles of Mätämma and Adwa to defend the empire from foreign invasions. He founded the town of Däsé & equipped it with the first modern services such as telephone and modern piped water. Mikaél also spent much of his time and money by constructing new churches and repairing the old ones. In spite of his great personality and contributions, much has not been said about Negus Mikaél. Thus, this research tries to provide information on his life & contributions.

With the help of this research a new method of impulse testing can be introduced. After identifying risk the factors and the evaluated using AHP fuzzy, It is suggested that after obtaining weight, the fuzzy criteria and competence score for each contractor is obtained. Finally, very few qualified contractors will implement the project. In the second chapter, novel designs to deep submicron FET-based chemical sensors are presented. The followed chapter, a new radiation sensitive FET (RADFET) dosimeter design (called the Dual-Dielectric Gate All around DDGAA RADFET dosimeter) to improve the radiation sensitivity performance and its analytical analysis have been proposed. Finally, in the last chapter, Improvement and Implementation of the (DDGAA) RADFET sensor in radioactive environment are presented using genetic Algorithms and artificial neural networks. Malawi data were collected in a cluster randomized study, in Chikhwawa district in 2004, with 18 villages randomized to interven…tion and control arms with a total of 1642 participants. Zambia data were collected from school children in a cross-sectional study in Lusaka province in 2004 with a total of 2040 participants. Results from the study showed that Negative Binomial Logit Hurdle (NBLH) model offered best-fit to data inflated with zeros; with capability to handle over-dispersion, excess zeros and capture true zeros in the data. Its implementation and interpretation, ease of components, and its direct link with observed data make it a valuable alternative for analyzing zero inflated count data. Conclusions drawn from the study indicated that Helminths were highly localized, with small section of people harboring parasites; showing heterogeneous infection risk for both Malawi and Zambia settings. Joint modeling approach allowed identification of risk factors for infection presence and severity hence provide a platform to design combative control efforts. 104 pp. Englisch.
