But, Indonesian government had applied totally export ban policy on rattan raw materials and semi-finished products since early 2012. Such policy was considered as an appropriate way to overcome the shortage of rattan materials supply for domestic industries and attempted to change Indonesia from a raw exporter become a finished-product exporter. This study examines the demand for Indonesia's rattan in Germany from 1991-2008 by using Transcendental Logarithmic as a tool. Germany is chosen since it is the most important country that has the high potency to become the rattan marketing in Europe. It is also the biggest importing country among European member countries and it can be considered as a competitive market. Prof Serkan Abbasoglu. It presents the analysis and evaluation of data from a real world photovoltaic s…ystem at Cyprus Solar Technology (CYS) in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus. It also compares the evaluation with simulation results of three globally known PV software tools: pvPlanner, PVsyst and Homer. The parameters evaluated in this study are energy production, specific yield, performance ratio and capacity factor. CYS's results were first analyzed with respect to the meteorological condition of Nicosia; then, they were compared with the values obtained from the three simulators. Detailed explanations are provided for the monthly, seasonal and annual variation of CYS data and simulation results in this study. Solar PV thrives in regions where there is high irradiation and long sunny hours. The simulation tools appear to underestimate CYS's energy production. Different reasons led to this variation between real world application and simulation results. These reasons are discussed through this study in detail. 80 pp. Englisch.

Due to the unemployment, job insecurity, stress and many other factors, population health-related quality of life (HRQoL) is affected. Persons in higher socioeco…nomic status tend to have higher HRQoL. A cross sectional study was conducted using convenience sampling of both employed and unemployed individuals in Attica, Greece. To evaluate HRQoL SF-36v2 questionnaire was used. The studied population consisted of 1049 people with an average age of 37.1 years. 91% were Greek, 36.8% had high school graduates and 62.4 were employed. In univariate analysis, work status, educational level, age, low income, parenthood, chronic illness and nationality were found to be related to the score of the participants at least one dimension. In linear regression analysis, there are statistically significant correlations between educational level, work status, chronic illness and age with HRQoL. Improvements of HRQoL should be directed towards chronic illness prevention, lifelong education, better information and unemployment reduction. HRQoL is not only a health policy issue but mainly an economic and social policy matter. 76 pp. Englisch.

A well-known algorithm of clustering is K-means by which the data are divided into K classes based upon a distance criterion. In this study, the K-means method applies for data classification derived from exploration boreholes and surface sampling in the Parkam deposit. The results derived based on the case of borehole data showed that the increasing Cu grade values resulted in a significant increase in Mo grades, a significant decrease in Pb grades followed by an increase, and the Zn grades varying comparable to Pb. With regards to the relationships between these elements it could be concluded that the meteoric waters promoted the mobilization of Pb and Zn from the potassic to the phyllic zone but the meteoric waters were not effective enough to cause the mobilization of Cu, and this element together with Mo remained immobile. Finally, equation of Cu grade estimation is also presented for surface data. 60 pp. Englisch.
