The same trend was observed for Area Time Equivalent Ratio for maize-soybean and maize-cowpea with value of 1.39 and 1.54, respectively. Neuware -A study was conducted at the WREMI, Baroda to study the characteristics of head loss at the head of poly tubes attached to the lateral line, and inlet pressure in micro tubes attached to the micro manifold of a micro irrigation system. Determination of head loss and inlet pressure at differ…ent segments is very important in order to design an efficient micro irrigation system. Keeping this in mind, head loss characteristics was studied through the entire poly tube as well as at the head of poly tubes at the point of attachment to the lateral line as influenced by diameter, length and discharge of poly tubes; and at the head of poly tubes influenced by discharge through lateral line only. Further, the inlet pressure characteristics of micro tubes attached to micro manifold at different positions viz: centre, left, and right in a single outlet system; and at left and centre, and centre and right of micro manifold in a double outlet system was also studied. A laboratory set up was made and the observations were recorded using the data-loggers. The nonlinear regression equations were developed for predicting the head losses and inlet pressures in micro tubes using the DATAFIT software.

Yet his roots are in history and his fictional world traces the tensions of… Indian political history.He wrote five English novels: Distant Drum (1960) Combat of Shadows (1962), The Princes (1963), A Bend in the Ganges (1964), and The Devil's Wind (1972). His works of history are Kanhoji Angrey (1959), Puars of Dewas Senior (1962), and Chhatrapatis of Kolhapur (1971). He wrote essays that were characterized by a stately prose style. He also wrote scripts for movies, short stories and many news paper articles. The present book makes an in-depth study of the theme, the plot, the characterization, the point of view, the technique and the language used in his two major novels.

Determination of head loss and inlet pressure at differ…ent segments is very important in order to design an efficient micro irrigation system. Keeping this in mind, head loss characteristics was studied through the entire poly tube as well as at the head of poly tubes at the point of attachment to the lateral line as influenced by diameter, length and discharge of poly tubes; and at the head of poly tubes influenced by discharge through lateral line only. Further, the inlet pressure characteristics of micro tubes attached to micro manifold at different positions viz: centre, left, and right in a single outlet system; and at left and centre, and centre and right of micro manifold in a double outlet system was also studied. A laboratory set up was made and the observations were recorded using the data-loggers. The nonlinear regression equations were developed for predicting the head losses and inlet pressures in micro tubes using the DATAFIT software. 120 pp. Englisch.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of maize-l…egume intercropping systems for improved crop productivity in maize-based farming systems in the mid hills of Nepal.Grain yield of soybean and fresh pod yield of cowpea were significantly reduced by 58% and 46% respectively in intercropping compared to sole cultivation.Land Equivalent Ratio was greater than one in intercropping systems, 1.54 and 1.66 for maize-soybean and maize-cowpea respectively. The same trend was observed for Area Time Equivalent Ratio for maize-soybean and maize-cowpea with value of 1.39 and 1.54, respectively. The economic evaluation on the other hand indicated that net benefit was higher for maize-cowpea intercropping system but from marginal analysis higher return benefit (832 %) was obtained in maize-soybean intercropping system. 92 pp. Englisch.
