Based on asymptotic results, the AFT models should lead to more efficient parameter estimates than Cox model under certain circumferences. Cox PH model is the most commonly used method, but survival analysis, after examining the covariate effects on the hazard function, proposed (AFT) model, unfortunately this method is rarely used. The objective of the analysis was to determine whether the diseases preventive therapies affected children, under age of five, mortality and survival. It was concluded AFT model can be an alternative to the PH model in the analysis and evaluation of the effects of the large censoring data. Analysis suggested PH model may not be appropriate in some situations, and the AFT model could provide a more appropriate description of the dataset. 52 pp. Englisch.

This distribution complies with the stress diagram which would beg to bending stress in sagittal level. By evaluating the biomechanical literature (Pawels 1948, 1950,1954,1968 and Kummar 1960, 1962, 1972, 1987), one comes to the conclusion that at least the spines of the human thoracic and lumbar are adjusted at a bending stress and in this manner were also stressed in life time. Our study showed that in the pigs' embryogenesis the first are formed an intraembryonic zone of hematopoietic cell localizati…on, which includes the paraaortic mesenchyme and AGM-region. Hematopoietic foci are found from 13-15 days, then gradually decreasing to 25 days and disappear by 35 days of gestation. Extraembryonic yolk sac hematopoiesis also occurs in the early stage of gestation, where similar to the intraembryonic hematopoiesis are formed - blood islands. We have shown that the liver of pig embryos is formed on the 15th day and the hematopoiesis in it begins to develop from the 20th day of gestation. The liver is more leading organ of embryonic erythropoiesis in porcine, compared to another mammalian, the single erythroblastic islands of the liver are also preserved after the birth. After 65 days of pregnancy, hematopoiesis in porcine liver gradually disappeared and replaced by the bone marrow. For the first time erythroblastic islands of the liver and mechanisms of regulation of prenatal erythropoiesis of the pigs have been studies. 72 pp. Englisch.

The incubation period of Bhakur was found to be 13 hrs of postfertilization at 3010C of water temperature. The present work generated some important information on the early life history and developmental stages of Bhakur in Nepal. This study will help the fishery biologist in understanding the biology and ecology of the fish, which might be of great use to take appropriate steps for the sustainable development of the culture, management, and production of indigenous breeds required for fish culture in Nepal's climatic condition. 60 pp. Englisch.

The eyekpe (education) in the pre-colonial period, its characteristics, aim and objectives are exami…ned.While the training and stages of training in eyekpe (education) of the Gbagyi in the pre-colonial period are discussed, the significance of the eyekpe (education) to pre-colonial Gbagyi and his society is explicitly made clear in the book. The arrival of the British colonialist in Gbagyi land which occasion the occupation of the area and which paved the way for the introduction of British western literacy system of knowledge as well as its role in the subordination and disappearance of eyekpe(education) are explained. The subordination and disappearance of the eyekpe (education) and its consequences on the Gbagyi and his society are appraised. The reasons why the Gbagyi is unable to divorce his eyekpe (education) from Colonialism and the various ways to redeem and reposition the eyekpe (education) to regain its indigenous knowledge status, have a strong footing and to enable it embrace the future are explored. 76 pp. Englisch.
