These pollutants have negative impact on air quality as well as on human health also on environment that leads in stringent norms of pollutant emission. This report focuses on non-noble metal (iron) based catalytic converter to control vehicular pollutants and low cost carbon scrubber made up of inert anion exchange resin. The experiments are carried out for zeolite/iron based catalytic converter on 2 wheel petrol driven vehicles and 4 wheel diesel driven vehicles. By using this catalytic converter it is found that HC is reduced by 86.9 and CO 86.8 by % in petrol engine, while 79% HSU reduction observed in diesel engine. 84 pp. Englisch.

A cross-sectional design was used with quasi experimental and correlational aspects. Traditional and cyberbullying were measured with Negative Acts Questionnaire-Revised and Workplace Cyberbullying Scale, respectively. 51% of participants were considered as bullying victims from whom 33% were traditionally bullied, 11% cyberbullied and 56% experienced both forms of bullying. Results found a significant difference between victims and non-victims in relation to the examined variables. Moreover, a significant difference was obtained between traditional bullying victims and victims who experienced both forms of bullying.

In this paper we use both parametric and non-parametric econometric models in order to estimate Egyptian consumers' willingness to pay (WTP) for carbon-labeled products. Contingent valuation methods based on log-logistic, log-normal and Weibull regression models revealed that consumers in Egypt are willing to pay a price premium of approximately 75 Egyptian pounds (EP) for carbon-labeled products based on the single-bound dichotomous choice (SBDC) model and up to 90 EP based on the double-bound dichotomous choice (DBDC) model. From a socio-economic perspective, results have also revealed that income, age, gender, and educational level have a significant influence on the respondent's WTP. Implications of this study highlight the fact that understanding consumers' preferences for eco-friendly products may play an important role in formulating environmental policy changes to face complex problems. 52 pp. Englisch.

Drinking water sources often get contaminated resulting in excess fluoride from geogenic sources. As per recent estimates millions in India are affected by… fluorosis. Fluoride is a normal constituent of natural water and weathering of fluoride bearing minerals along with groundwater conditions lead to higher fluoride levels in aquifer in certain arid regions, which become endemic for fluorosis. In this scenario, Defluoridation using nano hydroxyl apatite was prepared by using various methods and approaches using the combination of various natural materials for fluoride removal. The nano material application of fluoride removal from the groundwater and its utility in the filed level.Various survey techniques were adopted for this study along with detailed discussion on the community level for erection of Fluoride removal tank (FRT) using locally available natural materials. The details of community level FRT with mechanism of fluoride removal are expressed. The materials used has been attempted to make as hollow brick resistance to leaching.
