There are various methods to complete this processing. To increase output and reduction in grain damage pedal operated maize de-husker…sheller was developed. The rate of shelling is 100-120 kg/h. This method is easy and convenient to work. The pedal-operated maize de-husker sheller ergonomically evaluated to find out its suitability for male agricultural workers in terms of physiological cost using K4b (computerized Ambulatory Metabolic Measurement System) by selecting 10 male agricultural workers on their physical characteristics. The Mean working heart rate, oxygen consumption rate and energy expenditure rate for male agriculture workers were found 139 beats/min, 1408 ml/min and 6.83 kcal/min respectively of all subjects. The operation of pedal operated maize de-husker sheller was found under Moderate heavy work category.

One of the causes is tourism leakage. Previous book…calculated leakage from micro (industrial level). In this book, tourism leakage from Bali's accommodation is calculated at the macro (provincial) level by using SAM Hotels of Bali 2010. The results showed that the highest percentage of tourism leakage was found on 4&5 Star-rated chain hotels (55.32%), followed by 1,2&3 Star-rated hotels (15.66%), and 4&5 Star non-chain hotels (7.15%). The lowest leakage was on Non-star rated hotels (2.0%). These results indicate that 4&5 Star-rated chain hotels bring about more tourism leakage as they use many imported goods and services, foreign labour as well as capital ownership. Therefore, less revenue from tourism will be received by the host or local community, as more profits from tourism will go to outside of the region or country. The results showed that sources of tourism leakage on accommodation sector are capital ownership of accommodation, payment for imported goods and services as well as foreign labours. 64 pp. Englisch.

A patient was deemed to have engaged in bypass, if s/he was not living within a 5 km radius of Lira Regional Referral Hospital (LRRH) catchment area yet chose to seek health services directly from LRRH. The purpose of this study was to explore and generate knowledge on why patients bypass lower public health facility levels and to inform policy and decision making in order to reverse this situation. This was a cross-sectional descriptive study that applied quantitative and qualitative research methods. The study showed that a large proportion of respondents seeking health care services from Lira RRH had bypassed the public lower health facilities. This results into inefficiency in health service delivery at congested health facilities, compromises quality of care, and poor healthcare outcomes. It is focusing on the Priority Queuing Systems. Simulate network traffic is used with MATLAB simulator environment in order to obtain the reduction of the network congestion using queuing theory. A mixed queuing network model has been adopted in order to illustrate a Preemptive Resume Priority (PRP) M/M/C queuing in the licensed spectrum band and the M/M/C retrial queuing in the unlicensed spectrum bands. The simulation was performed using M/M/c models of queue theory. The results observed the dependences of the number of customers in the queue on time and show the Priority queue behaves in unlicensed band. The simulation results illustrated the reduction of the network congestion and the increasing of network performance in the proposed model. Moreover, the performance of the scheme under different scenarios and various parameters such as total delay and channel utilization has been investigated. 52 pp. Englisch.
