When my break was over I would pass the car to a volunteer, docent, or any visitor that wanted to play with the sea lion pup. He associated all those good times and good feelings with his people friends. When people visited his enclosure he was so excited and very gentle. Once I brought a little girl to visit Puff. She was in a wheelchair. He approached her chair and let her pet him. Right then and there I knew Puff was someone special. His trust changed me-I became a better person.
