It is printed from handset Perpetua types on Zerkall German Ingres paper using a Vandercook 219 proofing press. The edition size is 179 copies consisting of 150 numbered, signed, soft-cover copies and 29 deluxe, hardcover copies, signed and boxed, featuring an intaglio print by Suellen Larkin (#9/32). Of the deluxe edition 26 are lettered A through Z and 3 are designated as artist's copies. This copy is one of the 26 copies lettered A through Z, and signed by Barry Lopez. It is Copy E printed for Earle Henness, the late proprietor of The Beaverdam Press. Earle Henness printed using the old-fashioned method; from lead type, hand-feeding the paper to Chandler & Price platen presses.
