Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Near Fine; slight surface rubbing. Printed Wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased or split. 141 pp 8vo. This little book tries to cover the rough period when we lost our one room country schools; and when many of our small towns lost their high schools. The author was a teacher for over fifty years in Iowa and Missouri and he tries to give a true picture of the average rural school of 1895 to 1925. The author covers schools, education, his career, and his thoughts on education up to his retirement in 1956. A clean very presentable copy. Signed by Author(s).
