Launched on 8 August 1980, 96FM achieved exceptional early success and helped transform the city's radio landscape.George's career later expanded across Asia. From Hong Kong to Malaysia, Indonesia, India and China, he played senior roles in the development of radio, television, satellite and multimedia ventures.
