This book's conclusions show that, since the 1980s, successive ministers of education have implemented successive changes, and this resulted in the current problems facing students, parents and teachers, such as low levels of student achievement, the economic burden to families of paying for private lessons, external books written and published in the private sector and reducing one year of compulsory education cycle. Fractal Image Compression is one of the techniques that offers an advantage in reconstructing i…mages of high quality with reasonable compression ratio and fast decoding process. But, on the other hand, the encoding part of this method is considered to be highly time-consuming process. The time consumption is a result of the matching block process used for eight orients. This study proposes a method with new approach of matching with one computed affine transformation to accelerate the encoding time, which increases the efficiency to approximately ten times the traditional method for the same image size and block number. The difference between the encoding time for the two methods is proportional to number of blocks, which leads to high performance. The rate of encoding time with block number is very small compared to the traditional method, which leads to increase in its competitively compared with all other methods. However, the proposed method still produces a comparable reconstructed image quality and compression ratio comparable with original 156 pp. Englisch.

This boosted the usage of machine vision techniques. In this research, an intensive work was carried out on offline signatures to establish a system for verifying them using their digital images. Signature morphological structure was utilized to explore characteristics associated with different signatures. Signature verification algorithms were developed using binary images of signatures employing two different verification approaches, one was based on statistical techniques, while the other was based on neural networks (NN) techniques. A signature database was built by collecting 840 signatures from 66 volunteers, and was used for training the statistical and NN classifiers and subsequently for testing purposes. Research results indicated that the statistical classifiers' outcomes were highly satisfactory whereas the NN classifiers' outcomes were not of the same quality. 116 pp. Englisch.

Frankia isolates are tolerant to diverse group of metals and metalloids (Richards et al., 2002). However, little is known about the mechanisms involved. Three finished Frankia gen…omes (CcI3, NCBI RefSeq: NC_007777 (Zhang et al., 1984), ACN14a, NCBI RefSeq: NC_008278 (Normand and Lalonde, 1982) and EuI1c, (NCBI RefSeq: NC_014666 (Baker et al., 1980)) were initially tested against different kinds of heavy metals and aromatic compound pollutants. These strains were chosen because their genome sequences were available at the beginning of this study. These Frankia strains were tested against seven heavy metals (Zn , Pb , Cd , As , Co , Se O3, and Cu ) in addition to their ability to degrade two persistent aromatic pollutants (Biphenyl and Polychlorinated Biphenyl) and two organophosphorus insecticides (Parathion and EPN). My working hypothesis is that Frankia can resist many of heavy metals through sequestration or reduction these metals to less toxic or nontoxic metals To achieve this goal, different approaches were used. 136 pp. Englisch.

The presented model is a development of an integrated stock market trend prediction model based on Artificial Neural Network and fuzzy logic rules. This study constructs a hybrid model utilizing technical analysis tools: technical indicators and Elliott's wave theory. The presented model will be conducted by developing predictor system, consisting of three main phases. In the first phase a trend predictor model based on neural network is developed. The Second phase is a fuzzy rule based system to predict the short term stock trend. The third and last phase is integration between the first two phases using neural network.
