With the Octaober 19,1908 ownership inscription of then Lieut., and later Admiral, H. E. Yarnell when he was in Yokohama with the famous Great White Fleet. Admiral Harry E. Yarnell had a very distinguished career which included predicting the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1932 making this an interesting association copy. Also with an ink stamp stating this book is with the compliments of well known Japanese politician and reformer Saburo Shimada.
