Reviews his life growing up before WWII; being sent to Bukovina at age 14 for better economic opportunities; being drafted into the Romanian army in the early 1930s; his marriage during WWII, and the loss of his mother, siblings and wife at Auschwitz; his second marriage in 1946 to a young girl half his age; his emigration to Israel as Soviet influence in Romania increased; adjusting to life in Israel in a tent-city refugee camp until it was destroyed by flood; his abandonment of his family in Israel as he went to Austria to sneak into a refugee camp for Hungarian refugees, and gain passage to America, instead being sent back to Israel; starting his own furrier business, where at a birthday party, meets his first wife presumed dead at Auschwitz; and his eventual immigration to the United States. 6½ x 9¾ inches, 175 pages. In very good condition, with some curling to the front cover. Inscription on title page reads: "Don't rush to judge.Schinnar Rita April 2017." This author was the subject's grown, married daughter.
