Soft cover. Condizione: Good. 1st Edition. Fair condition British model railroading magazine. Magazine is not falling apart but covers are quite worn with some chips and tears along edges, the longest of which is about 1.5". Not much soiling but there is a little writing at the top of the back cover. Pages are all clean with slight toning. It will be backed with cardboard and carefully packed in a sturdy, flat box to ensure safe delivery. This issue includes: "Notes of the Month"; "Railway Topics"; "A 7-mm. Scale G.W.R. Moderate soil to rear (white) panel of jacket.

Smyth sewing is a method of bookbinding where groups of folded pages (referred to as signatures) are stitched together using binder thread. Each folded signature is sewn together individually with multiple stitches and then joined with other signatures to create the complete book block. This is the traditional and best method of bookbinding.
