Es zeigte sich, dass wir eine ganze Reihe von Faktoren identifizieren können, die auf die Erfolgschancen geförderter Unternehmen einwirken. Die Faktorausstattung der Unternehmen in der Kreditantragsphase besitzt nach unseren Erkenntnissen langfristige Effekte auf die Scheiterwahrscheinlichkeit und das Beschäftigtenwachstum der Unternehmen. Allerdings können wir bei der Analyse des Scheiterns nicht zwischen Konkursen und sonstigen Arten des Marktaustritts trennen. Durch die weitere Untersuchung der Kreditausfallhöhe und der Kredita- fallquoten gewinnen wir ein vollständigeres Bild. Faktoren wie die H- tungsbeschränkung der Rechtsform, die Motivation des Gründers und die Förderhöhe wirken auf die absolute Höhe des zu erwartenden Kredita- falls und die Kreditausfallquoten in signifikanter Weise. Um ein vollständiges Bild nicht nur über die einzelwirtschaftlichen Kosten des unternehmerischen Scheiterns staatlich geförderter Unternehmen s- dern auch über den mit der Förderung einhergehenden Nutzen zu gew- nen, ist es notwendig, auch die erfolgreichen Unternehmen genauer zu analysieren. Es zeigt sich, dass viele der untersuchten Einflussfaktoren nicht nur die Scheiterwahrscheinlichkeit sondern auch die Wachstumsraten beeinflussen. Zwar verursachen Unternehmen, die eine haftungsbeschr- kende Rechtsform gewählt haben, höhere Forderungsausfälle und verfügen über niedrigere Rückzahlungsquoten bei ihren Krediten. Im Erfolgsfall wächst die Gruppe haftungsbeschränkter Unternehmen aber auch schn- ler. Weniger vorteilhaft sind dagegen die Wirkungen, die von ambitioni- ten, mit der kreditfinanzierten Investition verbundenen Beschäftigungsz- len ausgehen.
