Da ihn seine Eltern früh zu Kreativität erziehen wollten, gaben sie ihm kein Spielzeug, sondern richteten für ihn eine Bastelkammer ein, in der er sein Spielzeug selber bauen sollte. Auszug: Der Dersim-Aufstand war nach der Niederschlagung des Scheich-Said-Aufstands der letzte große Kurdenaufstand in der Türkei. Er ereignete sich 1937/38 in der Region, die in etwa der heutigen Provinz Tunceli entspricht, und wurde angeführt von den Eliten der sogenannten Dersim-Kurden, den Zaza. Als Anführer gilt Seyit Riza. Staatlichen türkischen Berichten zufolge sollen zehn Prozent der damals insgesamt 65.000 bis 70.000 Einwohner der betroffenen Teile des historischen Dersims im Verlauf der Auseinandersetzungen getötet worden sein. Wahrscheinlich waren es 10.000 Todesopfer oder weit mehr. Die Regierung schlug die Revolte mit massiver Gewalt gegen Rebellen und Zivilisten nieder. Zahlreiche Bewohner wurden aus ihren Dörfern vertrieben, die anschließend zerstört wurden. Das gebirgige Dersim war in seiner Geschichte vielfach Grenzregion verschiedener Herrschaftsgebiete und hatte auch im Osmanischen Reich seinen eigenständigen Charakter bewahrt. Dersim war eine Zeit lang Teil des Eyâlets Diyârbekir, das damals ein weiter nach Norden reichendes Gebiet umfasste als die heutige Provinz Diyarbakir. 1880 wurde es zu einer selbständigen Provinz und acht Jahre später Harput angegliedert. Das historische Dersim war größer als die Provinz zur Zeit des Aufstandes. Die Bevölkerung bekannte sich mehrheitlich zum alevitischen Glauben und sprach größtenteils Zazaki. Ein kleiner Teil der Aleviten sprach Kurmandschi. Damit unterschieden sich die Bewohner Dersims sprachlich und religiös von den sunnitischen Kurden der benachbarten Provinzen. Sie galten in den 1930er Jahren dennoch als Kurden. Die Wahrnehmung als eigenständige Nation existierte noch nicht. Die Einwohner Dersims beteiligten sich nicht an den kurdischen Hamidiye-Regimentern. Während des Völkermords an den Armeniern retteten sie Zehntausende von Armeniern. Die letzten Strafexpeditionen während des Osmanischen Reiches in Dersim fanden in den Jahren 1908 und 1916 statt. Beim Aufstand Scheich Saids im Jahre 1925 kämpften sie auf 58 pp. Deutsch.

Beginning as a student, he has traveled all over the world in search of picturesque locations for his autonomous-conceptual photographs of special people or situations for his social-documentary projects. At the beginning of his career, he became famous for his photo-sequences, which have been exhibited and published widely since the early seventies. Besides his many exhibitions in the last forty years, Szulc-Krzyzanowski published 16 photo books and his pictures were published in magazines and newspapers all over the world. People are always the central theme in his work. Sometimes it is his own shadow or footprint that is the focus of the image, as in the case of many of his sequences, and sometimes it is another person somewhere on this planet, but he always approaches his subject with a good sense of curiosity and a positive perspective. Nowadays Szulc-Krzyzanowski lives and works in Mexico most of the time, in a camper designed by the artist, the 'Fuso Szulc', focusing on his social-documentary projects. Michel Szulc-Krzyzanowski was born in 1949 in Oosterhout, The Netherlands. His father, Zbigniew Szulc-Krzyzanowski, was an engineer from Poland who was a tank commander during World War II in the Netherlands, where he stayed after the war and married Clotilde Laurijssen in 1946. In that same year they built a house in Oosterhout where they raised their four children. The situation at home, which was far from peaceful, was crucial for Szulc-Krzyzanowski's personal growth and education. There were a lot of tensions between Szulc-Krzyzanowski's parents. His father spoke Dutch poorly, and his wife and children didn't speak Polish. This combined with significant cultural differences between his parents created unbridgeable problems in the home. Excerpt: Alec Su (born on September 11, 1973 in Taipei, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese pop star and versatile actor in films and television dramas. He became famous as a member of the Taiwanese Idol Band The Little Tigers, formed in 1988, and later for his first Chinese TV series Princess Returning Pearl (series 1 and 2). Alec Su's career started in 1988, at the age of 15, when he joined the Little Tigers trio. The band was the first idol singing group that debuted in the Taiwanese music industry and Alec was labelled as the 'obedient tiger.' The group's popularity was unprecedented; the Little Tigers attracted fans from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and amongst Chinese communities around the world. The success of the band began the new generation of Taiwanese pop culture in the early 1990s. In 2010, the Little Tigers were invited to participate in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, in which they sang a medley of three of their biggest hits and won accolades as the 'favorite singing group' for the event. Apart from being a popular singer, during this period Su was epitomized by the general public as a superior student. Valentino became interested in fashion while in primary school in his native Voghera, Lombardy, northern Italy, when he apprenticed under his aunt Rosa and local designer Ernestina Salvadeo, an aunt of noted artist Aldo Giorgini. The silver Italdesign concept that eventually became the Esprit was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1972 as a concept car, and was a development of a stretched Lotus Europa chassis. It was among the first of designer Giorgetto Giugiaro's polygonal 'folded paper' designs. Originally, the name Kiwi was proposed, but in keeping with the 'E.' naming format of Lotus tradition, the name became Esprit. The Esprit was launched in October 1975 at the Paris Auto Show, and went into production in June 1976, replacing the Europa in the Lotus model lineup. These first cars eventually became known as S1 (or Series 1) Esprits. With a steel backbone chassis and a fiberglass body, the Esprit was powered by the Lotus 907 4 cylinder engine, as previously used in the Jensen Healey. This engine displaced 2.0 L, produced 160 bhp (119 kW; 162 PS) in European trim (140 bhp (104 kW; 142 PS) in US/Federal trim), and was mounted longitudinally behind the passengers, as in its predecessor. The transaxle gearbox was a 5 speed manual unit, previously used in the Citroën SM and Maserati Merak; it featured inboard rear brakes, as was racing practice at the time. The Series 1 embodied Lotus performance through light weight mantra, weighing less than 1,000 kg (2,205 lb). The original Esprit was lauded for its handling and is said to have the best steering of any Esprit. However, it was generally regarded as lacking power, especially in markets such as the United States where the engine was down-rated for emissions purposes. Excerpt: Musical improvisation (also known as Musical Extemporization) is the creative activity of immediate ('in the moment') musical composition, which combines performance with communication of emotions and instrumental technique as well as spontaneous response to other musicians. Thus, musical ideas in improvisation are spontaneous, but may be based on chord changes in classical music. Because improvisation is a performative act and depends on instrumental technique, improvisation is a skill. There are musicians who have never improvised and other musicians who have devoted their entire lives to improvisation. Throughout the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, improvisation was a highly valued skill. Francesco Landini, Adrian Willaert, Diego Ortiz, Frescobaldi, J.S. Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and many other famous composers and musicians were known especially for their improvisational skills. Improvisation might have played an important role in the monophonic period. The earliest treatises on polyphony, such as the Musica enchiriadis (ninth century), make plain that added parts were improvised for centuries before the first notated examples. However, it was only in the fifteenth century that theorists began making a hard distinction between improvised and written music. Many classical forms contained sections for improvisation, such as the cadenza in concertos, or the preludes to some keyboard suites by Bach and Handel, which consist of elaborations of a progression of chords, which performers are to use as the basis for their improvisation. Handel, Scarlatti, and Bach all belonged to a tradition of solo keyboard improvisation that was not limited to variations, but included the concerto form, typically with moving voices in both hands, occasionally exploring fugue. (born October 19, 1930) is a Jesuit priest, theologian, philosopher, educator, author, raconteur, and Professor Emeritus of Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy. Having reached the mandatory age, he has retired from the Gregorian, returned to the Society's Oregon Province, and is now teaching at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. John Joseph Navone was born in Seattle, WA on 19 October 1930, the son of Giacomo 'Jack' Navone and Juliet Micheli Navone. At the time of his birth, his father was not yet a US Citizen, so Navone has dual citizenship in the United States and Italy (and therefore the European Union). He has five siblings: Joseph, James, George, Helen, and Catherine. He received his primary education at St. Anne School. His first three years of High School were spent at O'Dea High School, operated by the Congregation of Christian Brothers. He transferred to the Jesuit Seattle Preparatory School for his senior year, graduating from there in 1948. The former Jesuit Seminary at Mount St. Michael near Spokane, WA.Navone matriculated at Seattle University his freshman year before entering the Jesuit novitiate of St. Francis Xavier at Sheridan, OR on 14 August 1949 and studied there for four years. The next step of his education was at the Mount St. Michael Philosophate, then a Jesuit Seminary associated with Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. He received his master's degree in philosophy from Gonzaga in 1956. From 1959 to 1963 he studied theology at Regis College, University of Toronto in Toronto, ON. From 1963 until 2009, he resided in Rome, where he received his doctorate in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in 1966 His doctoral dissertation, 'History and Faith in the Thought of Dr. Alan Richardson' was published in 1966 by the SCM Press, London, marking the first time a Catholic doctoral dissertation was published by this Anglican - Protestant press. Excerpt: Charles H. Roe Ltd. was a Yorkshire coachbuilding company. It was for most of its life based at Crossgates Carriage Works, in Leeds. In 1947 it was taken over by Park Royal Vehicles. Two years later, along with its parent, it became part of Associated Commercial Vehicles (ACV) in 1949, which was merged with Leyland Motors Ltd in 1962. In 1965 30% of Park Royal and Roe's shares were exchanged by Leyland Motor Corporation for shares in Bristol Commercial Vehicles and Eastern Coach Works held by the Transport Holding Company. Later the THC was succeeded by the National Bus Company and Park Royal, Roe, Bristol, ECW and Leyland National Ltd became subsidiaries of a new company Bus Manufacturuers Holdings 50% owned by British Leyland and 50% by National Bus. Leyland took complete control of BMH in 1982 and closed Charles H. Roe in 1984. In the following year, a group of employees from the former business, supported by Yorkshire Enterprise Ltd, began the Optare coachbuilding business in the former Roe carriage works. Mr Charles H. Roe was a coachbuilder, draughtsman, engineer and entrepreneur who established a coachworks business bearing his name in Leeds, Yorkshire in 1917. He continued to be its managing director until 1952. Charles H. Roe Ltd produced distinctive and durable coachwork which although associated most strongly with municipal operators, particularly in Yorkshire, sold to a wide range of bus, trolleybus and coach operators, and there were even a few car, railway carriage, tram and commercial vehicle bodies too. Eventually becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of British Leyland in 1982 it was closed in 1984. Former workers and management pooled their redundancy money and in 1985 returned to the Roe factory in Leeds with a new bus-building business under the new name of Optare Ltd. Charles Henry Roe was born in York on 22 May 1887. However, globalization is usually recognized as being driven by a combination of economic, technological, sociocultural, political, and biological factors. The term can also refer to the transnational circulation of ideas, languages, or popular culture through acculturation. An aspect of the world which has gone through the process can be said to be globalized. Against this view, an alternative approach stresses how globalization has actually decreased inter-cultural contacts while increasing the possibility of international and intra-national conflict. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word 'globalization' was first employed in a publication entitled Towards New Education in 1930, to denote a holistic view of human experience in education. An early description of globalization was penned by the founder of the Bible Student movement Charles Taze Russell who coined the term 'corporate giants' in 1897, although it was not until the 1960s that the term began to be widely used by economists and other social scientists.
