They were a proud part of our heritage and today they stand as a legacy. New England lighthouses are legendary. Keepers who occupied these stations had a rich, rewarding and long history, a way of life that is now gone. This worthy part of human history has left us a permanent and beautiful record. "Lighthouse Legends and Hauntings" is about a time past, a way of life that has now vanished, experiences of keepers that will never happen again and, yes, even hauntings. Perhaps some of the keepers who dedicated their lives to duty are not so dead and, in cheating death, their presence is still known at the beloved stations they called home. Signed by author.
