However, few studies have investigated the influence of night shift work on oral health. Long-term disturbances of c…ircadian rhythms can lead to marked lifestyle changes. Thus, we hypothesized that night shift workers have more oral health problems than daytime-only workers. Job stress can also contribute to oral health diseases, including periodontal disease. The mechanisms by which stress affects periodontal disease progression and wound healing can be divided into two main categories: health-impairing behavior and pathophysiological factors. Therefore, it is reasonable to hypothesize that workers who experience job stress will have predictable oral symptoms. There is an established relationship between working long hours and poor health, as evidenced by the fact that long working hours have been linked to several diseases. However, the relationship between working overtime and oral disease is lacking. This book will be useful for both workers and corporate administrators, as well as dental practitioners, as it calls attention to work-related oral health problems. 72 pp. Englisch.

The treatment of situational context method was applied to the experimental group while the control group followed the traditional grammar teaching method. The experiment lasted for four weeks. A Grammar achievement test (pre-test and post-test) and an attitude scale were employed as the instruments for data collection. The collected data was statistically analyzed by using the independent samples t-Test and Paired Sample t-Test of SPSS 15.0. The findings of the study revealed that teaching English grammar using situational context improves students' academic achievement in grammar, on grammatical meaning and function and increases students' level of classroom participation in grammar lessons. 68 pp. Englisch.

The objectives are to: identify the loanwords in the dictionary, classify the domains and the statistic of each language, and examine t…he nature and the process of linguistic modification found by the loanwords. Words from French, Arabic, English and Hausa were extracted manually from the dictionary and classified into various domains such as religious, educational, technological, and cultural among others. A descriptive method was used to analyze the data. The study reveals that loan words in this dictionary exhibited both radical and non-radical features. The non-radical elements were found to have the following phonological characteristics: sonorization, palatalization, velarization, fricativization, consonants and vowel insertions, deletion, assimilation; syncopation, vowel harmony and compensatory lengthening. With regards to the frequency of occurrence observed, Arabic has highest percentage with 39.73%, followed by French (34.88%), Hausa (13.61%) and English (11.75%). It was also found that some of the loan words translated as Kanuri were originally Hausa and others. 128 pp. Englisch.

ZnO is another pr…omising metal-oxide semiconductor that can be replace TiO2 because of its higher electronic mobility as compared to TiO2 and its energy level of conduction band is similar as in TiO2. Nanocrystalline particles of ZnO were prepared by sol gel method using mesoporous electrodes for dye-sensitized solar cells. The anatase phase of ZnO has been confirmed using XRD. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) has been used to confirm the particle size of the ZnO nano particles. The coating of natural dyes extracted from spinach and marry gold has been done on ZnO nano particles. The Scanning Electron Microscope and EDX study reveals the morphology and elemental composition of the pure and natural dye coated ZnO nano particles. Tauc's plot confirmed decrease in band gap of ZnO nanoparticles with natural dye coating. Raman scattering spectra reveal active phonon modes for all of the synthesized samples. The mechanisms by which stress affects periodontal disease progression and wound healing can be divided into two main categories: health-impairing behavior and pathophysiological factors. Therefore, it is reasonable to hypothesize that workers who experience job stress will have predictable oral symptoms. There is an established relationship between working long hours and poor health, as evidenced by the fact that long working hours have been linked to several diseases. However, the relationship between working overtime and oral disease is lacking.
