Empirically, the book studies, first, living conditions of the inhabitants; second, the burden of disease, disability and injuries in the region; and third, health seeking behaviour according to type of care and system of medicine. It uses primary data collected mainly through interviews and visits covering 400 households in the region. Against this background, the vertical distribution of power is scrutinized on two layers, namely on why power must be shared and how this process is supposed to unfold. Both of them are seen from three different perspectives: the (multi-)governance one, the social cultural diversity and the legal-institutional. Whilst under the why umbrella questions and demands are raised, in the how part, answers are given in reversed order, in terms of mixed administration, alternative direct democracy, political (mis-)representation. It is based on data provided by National Research and Development Institute for Food Bioresources-IBA Bucharest, the AD…ER 15.1.1. project 'Socio-economic impact of food waste on the food safety and climate change crisis context'. The target group was national wide representative for over 18 y.o. urban population. Data have been processed into the following indicators: age, revenue, education, number of family members, geographical location, cities size. Over 900 persons responded, from 153 cities. The questionnaire was aiming for both individual and all family scale answers. Although the urban national percentile average of food waste is 10,4%, there is a wide scale of values, according to individual and social profile of the respondents. 1/5 of the population is wasting almost 50% from the total food waste. The study details the consumers behaviour, based on the previously mentioned indicators. The results indicated as high risk food waste consumer components: age under 35 y.o, living in big cities, university degree, medium to high income, shopping from retail network. 84 pp. Englisch.

The novel SKC key management mechanism is the best key management mechanism among the ones we found in reducing signaling load from the KD and making the mobility system independent of the AP-KD link delay. It is a significant contribution to the mobile network key management with fast handoffs when separate keys for APs are required and has many useful applications. It is a generalization of the identity binding that SKC is using. Furthermore, the AAA architecture with SKC, certificates, and hardware-based security is a disruptive proposal and show how the mobile network KD can be distributed to the edge nodes. The growing prevalence of cancer survivors was estimated to be over 28 million worldwide. CaP is the second most comm…on cancer in males of USA and high incidence has been reported in United Kingdom, African, Brazilian and Pakistani men. p53 has an important role in CaP. It plays an critical role in cancer metastasis. The tumor suppressor gene, p53, was found to be at the center of hub of significant biological pathways Reactive oxygen species (ROS) could activate some specific signaling pathways that contribute to tumor development by regulating cell proliferation, angiogenesis and metastasis processes. Current study was designed to determine expression of p53 in CaP as compared to normal control. This is a Cross-sectional analytical study which was conducted at Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology & Department of Urology, Rawalpindi, National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad over a period of one year. Study included 32 samples. Expression of p53 was determined by real time qPCR. It has been seen that CaP is an age related disease. Optimum ann 60 pp. Englisch.

The research has followed non probability sampling (purposive sampling) technique to choose the study area and study targets due to the researcher's better understanding of the study area. Based on this the researcher selected 5 health extension workers in Dodola town and 60 women who are taking prenatal and postnatal care at Dodola health center. The first and second objectives were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as percentages and frequency only the third objective was analyzed by the use of correlation statistics. Result of maternity health care indicated that the role of health extension workers in terms of maternity health care is very poor. 52 pp. Englisch.
