Gilbert Rumbold was a prolific illustrator in the 1930s, especially known for his Art Deco inspired illustrations. He created beautiful fashion illustrations, decorative maps and - those 1930s obsessions - motor cars, ships and airplanes. It is, however, the Savoy Cocktail book for which he is most well known.
