Undated, 33 pages, in a pocket-sized 3.75 by 5.75 inch format, it was sold for a quarter as an introduction to the inventor's life. The text follows Edison from his boyhood in Ohio and Michigan and his years as a telegrapher through Menlo Park, the phonograph, the electric light and the West Orange laboratory, in the plain admiring style of the Foundation's classroom literature.
