Ltd. in 1950. No translator named but stated on the front cover that this is the first translation from the French. The book is unfortunately incomplet…e with pages 67 to 96 missing. For what it is worth the remaining pages seem fairly secure. The front cover has a one inch crease to the bottom right corner, a small crease to the top right corner and small surface chip and tear at the left edge next to the spine. Yellowing to the back cover. The spine has some surface wrinkling and light edge wear. The pages are browned but otherwise unmarked. First printing of this edition. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.

Browning and light staining to the rear cover which has a two inch crease to t…he top corner. The spine has some quite heavy reading creasing and a little edge rubbing. Some browning and staining to the insides of the covers. The text block is cracked at page 96 but the binding seems secure enough. The page edges are browned and a little discoloured in places with some edge wear. Browning to the pages with some staining to the top area of the first few pages. The pages are otherwise unmarked.
