The newsletters are stapled bulletins 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches, 11 pages with heavy stock covers. They are in a cardboard library box with a wrap around laminated subject index. Callas was the editor of the newsletters along with being the writer of many of the articles, all of which are about harvesting and preparing wild foods.
