'the older women be teachers of good things, that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed'. My husband, Jerry, and I have been married over 60 years, raised five children, have 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. I really have had many experiences. As an Elementary Teacher for over 30 years, I have been privileged to get acquainted with many forms of 'family' and shared in their joys and sorrows. My prayer everyday as I drove to school was, 'Lord let your love for me and my love for you, make a difference in the lives I come in contact with'. It is still my prayer today.
