It is dedicated to my grandbabies Jade, Naiyah, and Nasir Blanchard who are Texans and who will never know my New Orleans. It's for the generation of babies whose parents for whatever reason didn't return to our fair city. Last but not least for those, 'who know what it means to miss New Orleans.' Laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll). Brandon was born and raised in the city of New Orleans. His mother realized at the tender age of four he had a talent for visual art. Brandon studied under world renowned Richard Thomas. He was a member of Mr. Thomas Pieces of a Dream Artists. His work has been displayed at Mr. Thomas art studio as well Xavier University of New Orleans. Brandon went on to study at NOCCA (New Orleans School of Contempary Fine Arts). Brandon won third place in the 911 Regional Contest. He received an associates degree in fine arts and is currently working on an advanced degree.
