It includes an explanation of the properties of major components of power system: alternator, overhead lines; underground cables; switchgear and the power transformer, development of simple equivalent circuits to represent the above components and a chapter on primary energy sources for electricity generation including energy storage and system management. A readable copy of the book which may include some defects such as highlighting and notes. Cover and pages may be creased and show discolouration.
