Tall 8vo. xvi, [2], 418 pp. Numerous photo illustrations. Red cloth, gilt lettering on spine, w/ d.j. NF/NF copy, from the library of John R. Maticich (1933-2014), electrical engineer, computer entineer, former director of product development at Floating Point Ssytems, and then co-founder of Synergy computers, and finally Director of Engineering with Mentor Graphics after 1984 merger, w/ former ownership markings on front pastedown. First edition of this excellent biography chronicling the life of the man who developed the punched card tabulating machines making it possible for government and industry to efficiently and quickly process large quantities of information.

Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. Book has 0.25 inch divot along top edge. Faint curling to one bottom cover corner. Faint foxing to outside page block. Otherwise, pages are clean and crisp. Binding is strong and boards are sturdy. Dust jacket has faint wear to corners. Very faint discoloration along top edges. Slight 4 inch crese to bottom of front flap. Otherwise, jacket is fully intact. No other major wear or markings. All text and imagery bold and bright. Now in protective mylar cover.
