This book explores the complex relationship between the Old Testament and the New Testament, examining the views of Jesus Christ on the Old Testament's authority and the implications for Christian understanding of the Hebrew Bible. The author analyzes the words of Jesus and demonstrates his unwavering support for the divine origin and enduring relevance of the Old Testament. Through a careful examination of specific passages, the book delves into Christ's understanding of the law, the prophets, and the Psalms, highlighting his belief in their authenticity and prophetic nature. The author also explores the concept of accommodation, which some scholars use to explain certain statements of Jesus that appear to endorse inaccuracies or popular errors in the Old Testament. Ultimately, the book argues that Christ's testimony to the Old Testament provides a solid foundation for its continued significance and authority within the Christian tradition.
