Alan Baker (illustratore). First illustrated edition, published in 1982 by Macmillan Children's Books, London. This is a near fine copy in the original colour-printed boards, and it appears unread. The spine ends and board edges show only the slightest signs of dulling. The book is signed and includes a small remarque depicting a curious, elf-like figure in a green jacket, which adds a unique touch.
