ISBN: 9780365321705 - measurements of extreme ultra-violet solar radiation using a filter method (classic reprint) (2 risultati)

Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book offers detailed quantitative measurements of biologically active solar radiation with wavelengths less than 313 millimicrons. The author, an expert in radiometry, examines the effect of atmospheric factors and seasonal changes on this radiation, which has been shown to have a specific healing value, particularly in the prevention and cure of rickets. The data collected through an exclusion method of filter radiometry provides valuable insights into the amount of ultraviolet radiation in sunlight as affected by air pollution, altitude, humidity, daily and seasonal variations, and sky radiation. The author correlates these findings with biological measurements and calculations made by others, providing a comprehensive understanding of the impact of environmental conditions on the intensity and quality of solar radiation. This book is a significant contribution to the field of radiometry and has practical implications for heliotherapy and the study of the effects of ultraviolet radiation on human health. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
