In Long Slow Burn , Kath Weston traces a long but largely forgotten history of interest in sexuality in the social sciences, from Kinseys pioneering sex research in the 1950s, to the work of sexologists such as Masters and Johnson. What is different now, Weston argues, is that sexuality has been isolated from other contemporary issues.
