Binzen, who also wrote and illustrated many children's books during his years as a photographer was known for his attention to composition and the evocation of mood - both characteristics seen in these photographs, taken over a period of several months in various parks in New York City. Unpaginated, a slim slightly oversized book. Very near fine in a illustrated green boards in a good only photographic wraparound dust jacket (3 closed tears to upper edge, other light edgewear) Uncommon.
