AUTHOR: Anne grew up in Mosman and studied Arts and English Literature at the University of Sydney. She undertook a graduate cadetship in journalism at the Sydney Morning Herald where she worked for several years. After leaving news, and returning to work as an arts editor for the Eastern Herald, she then worked as a magazine features editor. In late pregnancy, she was diagnosed with a rare defect on her outer brain, and agreed to opt for the 12-hour neurosurgery that would save her life. Complications led to a case of retrograde amnesia, which she struggled with for over a decade. She would eventually leave Sydney to live a quieter life between mountain and sea on the NSW South Coast. She eventually returned to journalism and magazine editing. Anne then returned to university to study Creative Writing, obtaining a PhD. She now works as a copywriter and is writing a novel. This is her first published book.
