Drawings, in bw and colour, with some narration alongside, made by the author 40 years after he was a prisoner of the Japanese working on the Burma-Thailand Railway in World War II. The drawings record the daily life in the camps, for which little photographic evidence is available. Kreefft, Otto (illustratore). Signed by writer of foreword.
