Laid-in at front endpapers is a folded standard letter-sized sheet with nine-line poem titled "March" which all appears to be in Menashe's handwriting and concluded with an inscription split between left and right sides at sheet's bottom "From Nancy Hallinan | with my thanks | Samuel Menashe | NYC | March 14, 1975." The book's signature features a cursive "S" for Samuel whereas the poem's signature has more of a script "S" but this seems to be consistent with various examples found online. Also it is a bit puzzling why the poem's inscription is phrased "From Nancy Hallinan" but unfortunately clarification is an impossibility as both inscriber and inscribee have both passed.
