This is stated as the facsimile of the rare 1919 edition originally published by David McKay. This facsimile was published in 1989 and this is the first printing of this facsimile with "1" in the number line on copy right page. This is also part of the Books of wonder Series. Jessie Wilcox Smith's illustrations are mostly in color and full page. Pages are clean and bright; binding is tight. There are no tears, creases or writing. Blue paper covered boards clean and bright. Embossed illustration and title unmarred on front cover. Gilded lettering on spine is shiny and bright. Light fading along edges of board covers. Light foxing on page edges. This is NOT an ex-lib or a remainder. DJ is complete & colorful; DJ is NOT price clipped. DJ in mylar jacket now. Note: We use "Fine" book condition judiciously; only when the book exhibits no flaws. A Fine book closely approaches -As New- condition and may not have been previously owned. Any flaws (writing, tears, creases) are exceptions to a Fine condition and should be clearly described for a book and dust jacket.
