She has spent time as a black&write! editor intern, was a winner of a 2019 Next Chapter Fellowship with The Wheeler Centre and won the 2021 Nakata Brophy Short Fiction and Poetry Prize. She has written for Overland, Kill Your Darlings, SBS Voices, Griffith Review and was highly commended for the ABR Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize in 2020. Jasmin's passions have always been writing and reading and she is the proud author of Ash Barty's Little Ash series. The Poet's Voice believes in the power of collective listening. Working in partnership with festivals and cultural organisations, founder Ellen Koshland and associate Nikki Anderson have curated large-scale events in beautiful venues to gather together people to listen to poetry and prose on themes and topics both political and poetic.
