Sam has always had a personal interest in Cunard history due to family connections with the line, since both his father and grandfather were Cunard Line Commodores. These combined diving and Cunard interests led to the publication of 'Shipwrecks of the Cunard Line' (2012) with co-author Mike Roussel.
