Crisp, clean pages except for foxing along the head edges; no owners' marks; sewn binding is gently relaxed, but secure; hard cover (paper over boards) shows some fading along edges and a small surface tear at the top right front; jacket shows a short, hard scuff along the right front edge, a short edge tear with attendant creases at the top right rear, some corner wear, and a few light gray handling smudges, yet remains overall sound, unclipped, and is now protected in a clear sleeve.
