Reprint edition/first printing thus, two volume hardcover set in a slipcase, the books are both signed by Connell on their second free end page, and have a shallow lean to their binding, light bumps to their spine ends, and a touch of sunning to their spine. Additionally, Mrs. Bridge has a stray pen mark to the fore edge of the front paste down. Otherwise, this is a solid, tight and sharp, Very Good+ set in a Good+ slipcase, which has an approx. 2" split to the upper right seam from the opening, bumps to the corners with tearing and short peels to the paper at the corners around the opening, rubbing with areas of smudging and soiling to the panels, and sunning to the head and rear, with sticker shadows to the tail and left panels.
