Also covered are bibliographies on the subjects of library science, reference books, anonymous writings,…condemned books, unfinished books, erotica, forged books, etc. The entries are extracted from the 5 volumes of Besterman's monumental "A world bibliography of bibliographies and of bibliographical catalogues, calendars, abstracts, digests, indexes, and the like" (4th and best edition). The coverage is geographically very wide-ranging, and includes both separately published books and monographs and serial publications (though not bibliographies appearing in periodicals). Classified arrangement (an author index would have been valuable). Besterman's indication of the approximate number of entries contained in each work is particularly useful. Top edge of textblock smokestained, otherwise Good.
